How was the parking lot looking the other day?

RE: Ferrel-yes, there will be some "thinning" of the foliage this spring/summer. Planned improvements include some work on D4, D6, D7, D8, and D9, as well as looking at additional holes (3) on each of the 3 courses. Feel free to provide input and help out with the manual stuff when the time comes. This will all be discussed at the annual club meeting as well.

Please report anyone dumping garbage or other household items in the parking lot. Whitehall Disc Golf Club will offer a reward to anyone that reports these scumbags. Get us a car color/make/lic #. Thanks

It is "leaf" season here at Whitehall, which means many lost discs. Please be courteous and return discs to the owner if there is a name on it. You can return them to me if you want and I will try to locate the owner. I put all lost discs in a lost and found box for people to claim. You may be the one hoping someone finds your disc, so return the favor. Thanks

Reminder, no "official" leagues until November 7, 2010, (from November through April we will have (doubles) leagues on Sundays @ 1:00.) However, if you need a reason to get out of the house on Mondays, feel free to come out to the course, we will still be playing Monday nights for a while. Come out tonight if you want you Club T shirt, I will also have more discs avalable for club members. Please pass this info on to the unconnected folk.

here is some information pulled from the whitehall township website. what a great park that is here for EVERYBODY to enjoy!!

"Use of the course is absolutely free. We do expect you to respect the environment and to keep it trash free. A port-a-potty is available during warm weather but there is no water source. You do not need to be a Township Resident to enjoy the disc golf course or any of the Township’s Parks."
