Average Course. Classic Par 3, easily birdied holes. Has terrible rough in the summer. Seriously. Does have a good mix of right and lefty holes, so its good to have a forearm at White Clay. Practice it before you come though, errant shots usually mean lost plastic unless you want to dig around in the rough forever (you don't). Practice it before you come though, errant shots usually mean lost plastic unless you want to dig around in the rough forever (you don't). Also this course is swarming with college kids in the spring, and you have to wait for big groups to tee off a lot of the time, before they maybe will let you play thru. That said, this is one of the first courses I ever played, and the prospect of maybe nailing a 300 ft ace keeps me coming back every now and then.
This is a state park so you have to pay for parking. Buy a sticker from the park office for 27 bucks (in-state license plate) and you can go to lums, killens and B-wine (plus every other state park) for free for the rest of the year though.
