Scott Ransley 55 - Long tees, 18 holes "Rnd 3. Got up early to walk the course and look at the long pins. Not a ton more distance, but puts even more ob into play. 10 of the 18 holes have ob within 30 feet of the basket. The same threesome as yesterday. (Brian the TD, and Greg who I was tied with for second). Started on 17. Good start, picked up three shots in the first three holes. Made a death putt on hole 1 from 30 with the basket right on the edge of a drop off into the river. However, hole 4 sidearm kicked Destroyer off tree into the river, then threw ob again on retee, for double circle 6. Rain started on hole 8, and was heavy for about 6 holes. I was well prepared with the super cart, which helped a lot. Other two guys did not even have umbrellas. Finished with 5 birdies, 3 bogies, and the triple. Picked up four strokes on the TD to trail by one, and two stokes on the guy I was tied with."+1
Scott Ransley 55 - Long tees, 18 holes "Rnd 4. Sun and wind came out and dried up the course quick. Same threesome as the last two rounds. Started on 17 again. Took lead after two holes, then gave it back on hole 3, and got it again on hole 5. Greg in third place fell off pace with some brutal spits. I was up by one with 8 holes to go, and I parred them all, while the TD went 4 over. Won by 5. Two birdies, three bogies. Also won the ace pool throw off with a Star XD (of course). Great tourney, great people, and a lot of fun."
