University of Wisconsin Whitewater

First of all, I should probably feel pretty lucky that I have a disc golf course less than 100 yards from my apartment. I'm able to play everyday, and I used to play between classes. This course gets a bad rep, probably because most of you haven't been here in a while. They added 6 holes (albeit they are a bit forced) so it is now a full 18. This course gets a bad rep, probably because most of you haven't been here in a while. They added 6 holes (albeit they are a bit forced) so it is now a full 18. This course, as most courses should, has a great mix of everything. A few long holes, but most of them are under 250-300ft. A lot of "aceable" holes which makes things fun and interesting. Lots of risk and reward type of shots.

I've scored anywhere between -11 and +2 in the last few months. Maybe that's a testament to my inconsistency, but it also shows how challenging the course can be if you aren't on your game.

Very decent course. Built on a "glacial drumlin", so it provides very interesting elevation. Most holes offer tight lines with limited room to error. Holes about 4-8 are fairly tight, but still decent. Late Summer and all Fall this course is fairly mosquito ridden, and provides dense woods on certain holes. This course is right on campus, so people are quite laid back. Tees are beaten dirt or poorly laid bricks, but most holes do offer alternative tees. During school season it is not very busy, ...

This course is right on campus, so people are quite laid back. Tees are beaten dirt or poorly laid bricks, but most holes do offer alternative tees. During school season it is not very busy, outside of school season it is very rarely populated. The signage is completely lacking, unless you look close at the magic marker on the 4x4's.
