The course review is based on how the course is and how it fit my game. I like this course a lot. It fit the campus well but there are a few navigation issues. Each hole has new rubber tee pads and nice hole signs along with new DGA Mach III baskets. The course opens with a few open holes and then takes you in to the wooded holes with a solid mix of uphill, downhill, hyzers & anhyzers then ends with 2 open holes. This course has students that have never played the game in mind. (There were a few ...

Extremely wooded! Nothing too long, if you play conservative it should be easy to get close to par.

NOTE: As of June 29th, 2014, the 1st hole has been removed due to construction. Start on hole two across the parking lot. Getting to the course: Park in the Jepson Alumni Center Parking. decent course. a little hard to navigate the first few holes, but once you get in the woods, the flow is pretty easy to follow. not a fan of flypads, as this was my first time playing on them. any dirt or debris made for tough footing. could also use some trimming on a few holes, as there's some lines that are hard to hit without hitting one of the many saplings down most of the wooded fairways. still a fun course, and i'd play it again if i was back in the area.

This course has a lot of potential but there are just too many trees to be really enjoyable. The fairways are so narrow that unless you're a legitimate pro then good luck. Because that's what it feels like if you don't hit trees. Nice scenery and well maintained, but just overly difficult in my opinion.
