Concrete tee pads are too short, no tee signs, pay to play (KS State park fees apply).
Other than that a good course. :-)

I like this course because of the variety of hole distances and layouts. Besides going into the lake on 15, there aren't many holes where water is a problem. On the other holes with water it is easy to avoid it. Also trees aren't much of a problem on many of the holes as the branches aren't near the ground.

This is my sentimental favorite, as it's the first course I ever played, and I have played it a lot. Most holes play down fairways defined by mature trees that force you to throw with some precision. Pros: I really enjoyed the course. There were enough trees, good tee placement to, and water involvement to keep each hole interesting. There were 6 groups on the course while we were playing and I never felt rushed or like it was crowded.

The course layout is great. It has a great variety of shots and provides great scenery. The tee pads could use enlargement. Golfers will tend to feel "confined" in its small space. Baskets could use a little upkeep, starting with all at the appropriate height. Look forward to getting back to this course and keeping off of the bogey train!

Need non home made baskets and longer tee pads, with the money you pay to play there new baskets should be a must. Overall great course though
