Fun course that utilizes the local vegetation & the few elevation changes pretty well. Good mix of open and tighter technical shots. Signs are great, but after playing Hole 13 it took some wandering around until I finally found Hole 14 (I forgot to take a pic of the course map before I started). I appreciated how the signs warned me about holes that "eat" discs. I will definitely play this one again if I'm ever in the St. Pete area.

Played this course a few times while on vacation 2/13. It's got a very nice mix of wooded and open holes. The park itself is beautiful with picnic many tables and a beach on the bay. The signage is fairly helpful though there are a few spots where its not clear how to navigate to the next hole.

Great atmosphere. Love the historical information at each tee off. Flora and Fauna a treat for someone from up north. Will definitely play again.

Maximo is one of the best courses in the Tampa Bay area, the park is an old beautiful area overlooking the south tip of Pinellas County and the water. The course is confusing but that's why you always take a pic of the course map, which is very detailed and has many hidden surprises. A good mix of open fields, palmetto brush, and oak and pine forest make for an interesting layout and challenging game. Could use some more amenities like a water fountain and more benches and bag posts but other than that the course is well maintained and gorgeous.

TOCOBAGA at Maximo park is definitely a course made for players who are drill for challenges. From straight shots to the basket to very difficult sharp left/ right turns, pushing you to be strategic with your shots as well as becoming familiar with your discs. Let’s not forget that Windy days make it even more challenging and fun!!

What a great course with beautiful views. Many technical holes. Woods and vegetation play a big role whereas water isn't something to worry about. Would def recommend playing.

I did a lot of walking ahead and backtracking trying to follow the layout. There were some signs, but not enough to guide you where you need to go. Also, I never found hole 18 at all, so I just counted that one as a 3 for this round.
