Great scenery, variable distances from basket to basket, easy layout. This is a very good beginner friendly course, yet challenging enough for seasoned veterans. My only complaint is that I wish baskets 16-18 were not so far away from the rest of the course (located behind Hartselle High School's baseball field). The city of Hartselle always does a great job of keeping the grass cut and very well kept up!

Nice course layout that is sometimes impeded by pedestrians (mostly young children) playing along the creek and around picnic pavilions. Other than hole #4 (which is bland, wide open long-thrower's hole - which I am NOT), I love this course.

I've always enjoyed playing this course even when it was only 13 holes. Good mix of shots.

Trees are filling in and some of the local routes are no longer there or much tighter shots. The old number 9 (new 11) over the creek needs to be trimmed near the creek. People losing discs in the creek due to branches and high grass can slow play. Lots of small limbs hanging over the tee pad on 12 that need to be trimmed back. Be cautious of the many fire ant mounds. Some of the field on 5 has still not been cut due to soft ground, but much of the rest of the course has been mowed. League is do ...
