This course features a load of tee shots that you likely aren't used to throwing on your typical track. Multiple forced right-hand sidearm shots, strange angles off the tee, forced elevated S-shot on #2. There is enough here to make you uncomfortable on your first shots...especially if you throw right-hand backhand. If that wasn't enough, OB lingers along more than 50% of the holes. The Black pins play to a par of about 56 making you earn any 2 that you achieve...no deuce or die here. T ...

This course is a MUST PLAY period. There really is noway to describe this course but awesome. Cement pads, there is a water spout in between holes 13 and 14 with good water, and there is a path to Lake Michigan that takes 5 minutes to walk. The only thing that would make this a A+ is signs to point the way to the next hole. COME PLAY HERE!!!!!!

Get rid of a few random trees on 4 5 and 6 to create a more consistently rewarded shot and this course would be and A+. Its everything you want in a disc golf course, other than ob water holes... who wants those anyway? if you want water just walk down the nature trail and you have beautiful Lake Michigan as far as the eye can see!

passing through the area and stopped for a round. Very nice course with a nice mix of shots. Not sure if I played the correct baskets as several holes have 2 baskets. but. I did hit an ACE on Hole 2 in the 271 foot position! would definitely play here again.

Another great course around the Grand Rapids area. Elevation and beach line terrain. Sand, Michigan cactus, and Michigan Bamboo can all be found on the course. Some holes have long and short pin locations which are changed pretty regularly in the summer. Lake Michigan is about a 1/2 mile walk along a trail, well worth is to cool down on a hot summer day.

I might be a little bias because this is my home course. But honestly one of my favorites. New course and already has cement tee pads with signs. New holes and alternate sleeves recently added. from there i believe it will only get better. Trails are becoming beat down and well maintained. Myself and Don Houseman went out recently with salt, shovel and broom and dominated every tee pad. This course is worth playing. Anytime of year.

This is a sweet course, It has everything a Disc Golfer would want, Cement pads (4'X12'), Tee Signs, Water spigot between Basket 13 and Tee Pad 14 (GOOD WATER), Wooded Holes, Long Holes, Short Holes, Open Holes, Benches at every Tee. There is a line from every Tee To Every Basket if you can see it and you have the disc to make the throw. It's a Challenge as it should be; for a good day of Disc Golf. The only reason I didn't give this course an A+, there's always room for improvement. Lawn Care is one of the issues I would submit.

Great course despite the foot of snow. Great balance of open holes and wooded holes. Very challenging in places. Tee pads cleaned off means someone cares!! I will look to play this course once or twice a month. A little trip from Grand Rapids, but well worth it!

I may be biased. This is my favorite course around. Fun challenging, every hole has something different that it makes you do, from throwing right and left, up hills around bends, then down again thru thick woods, and across massively windy fields, this course truly has something for everyone.

I'm still fairly new to Disc Golf, only been playing for a couple years. The first few times I played this course, I found myself incredibly frustrated with all of the technical holes and distance holes. Now, as I'm starting to learn my throws and my discs the challenge is becoming more and more enjoyable. In the past year I've been playing a lot more courses and now I can say that this is definitely one of my favorites in terms of variety and challenge.

This summer I joined the course's league and it's been a great improvement to my game. Great job guys!

Pros: A great course tucked away in the dunes of Saugatuck. This is a personal favorite of mine. It features some big holes that reward big arms, but also some technical sections that require real finesse. The course signs are pretty basic in terms of information detail, but teepads are nice, and so are the baskets. There are two layouts on most holes, so it keeps things exciting for the two round tournaments there. It's pretty obvious navigation, so you shouldn't have trouble finding your ...

Has everything necessary for an ideal course with the exception of no water hazards and poor navigation signage (which would be beneficial with double baskets on holes). The U Disc Pro map is very helpful for first timers.

Really fun and challenging course. Many technical holes. Lots of woodsy hyzer and anhyzer shaped shots are required. A good mix of bomber holes and ace runs as well. Unique terrain: sandy, hilly, and who knew we had cacti in Michigan. Has 24 holes, most of which have 2 baskets, and just one tee pad. Black course pin locations are what I would call the tournament long course layout and playing to the yellow course shortens it up quite a bit, The course is surrounded by and played through m ...

Shore Acres is a very cool course with some good woods, sandy desert shots with hills, up and down, left and right, tight and open, short and long. There are plenty of birdie opportunities here as well as some holes that will make a push to get a par. There have been many course improvements: cement elevated tee pads, trash bins, new pin placements, signage, and practice basket. A job well done with course design and use of land. Very fun to play and worth a trip for sure.

Good combination of wooded holes and wide open ones. Some of the newer holes, the ones the locals refer to as "the devils backbone" could use more clearly defined throwing lanes. The new concrete tee pads are long enough and wide enough to accommodate any style of tee off and every hole has a sign with distance and hole layout.

I really liked how they had this course before, after they updated and changed the holes around and making some very odd tea off spots *thinking the one that goes down hill and to the left up hill) made me dislike this course slightly. but if you like a good mix of situations (long holes, short holes, wooded, and open shots) this course is for you.

This course was beautiful, great mix of techniques, and challenging - it made you think before you threw. The main reason I could not go any higher than a B- is the confusion on Black vs. Gold - I'm not sure if this completely new, but on a lot of holes they had both a Black and Gold line displayed, yet I only found 5 holes with 2 baskets (I believe there were 2 or 3 holes that only had Gold on the Post). The map displayed at Tee 1 indicated most had 2 lines, but nothing that I found stated w ...

A beautiful Michigan course. Lots of skill required, if you care about score you'll need a full arsenal of different shots and discs. This course is one of new favorites. It wasn't easy for us to find all of the holes the first time we played it but the second time it went pretty smooth. The description says it is 23 holes but we definitely played 24 holes. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the multiple baskets on most holes but I really enjoyed it. Nice challenging course, with lots of variety. A little confusing regarding the yellow and black placements/distances, so I had to count my round as "regular tees". It seemed that some holes may have been the shorter distance listed on the tee sign, while others were the longer placements. Some extra signs would also help here, although each tee does have a 4 x 4 post with hole number and two distances listed on it. Numbering the actual baskets would also be a good idea here. Overall, I rea ...

Original Review: Poor signage made it more difficult to navigate the course, especially with multiple baskets and tees near each other. It helps that it has good flow and one round through was enough to remember which basket went with which tee. Very good. New Review: It still lacks proper signage. Dare I say it's actually gotten worse? There are not alternative baskets, some of which are longer and some of which are shorter, but almost all seemed less good than the original placements. The ...

PLAY THE YELLOWS. My home course. I see too many first timers playing the black pins. YELLOW pins is the standard layout. 18 or 24 (new hole A added in to make it 24 holes again) Don't be suckered into thinking you need to play the long pins. YELLOW is the original layout, black pins were added in later and were made longer where there is space. If there was no room for a long position, the pins were made a bit shorter by necessity. That is why the main layouts are not short and long. YELLOW is ...

I'm glad I got to play with others on the first round here, just because there are multiple pin positions on the tee signs, but not every hole had both baskets in. It made it nice to get to choose the basket per hole, according to what might be "nicer" to play. Great views, couple of really challenging holes with marked OB...even though it was "calm" for wind, it almost made it more challenging because you couldn't use the wind on some holes!

love this course, only played through twice so far (once at daytime) and night disking here is insanely awesome. Cant wait to play it more and see the many extra holes and challenges Felt Mansion delivers. Plus the nature trails and Lake Michigan sit behind for a lovely view and hangout. m/.

Awesome course, requires almost every type of shot and is easy to navigate. Also has great views and a cool signature hole 14.

Difficult to figure out layout, without UDisc Maps it would have been difficult to know where to go based on signs. Beautiful Course with great elevation and a mix of open and technical.

Very neatly maintained and outlined, beautiful views, testy and adventurous. Played with a friend and he also admired the upkeep and scenic views.

Nice course in the dunes. Two different pin layouts if you want to change things up. The only gripe is there could be better signage. Other than that this is one of the best courses in the area!

Course was okay. Some fun holes some bad. Worst part was all of the bike/ walking paths that went through half the holes. Also no signs of where to go next and a lot of crossing fairways to get to the next tee.

No signs. Holes are too close to each other. Very confusing if you've never played here. Great hole design. 1 hour of "next hole" sign design would make this a great course. Mismarked baskets everywhere make it confusing. C'mon. Holes cross each other. Signage signage. Frustrating
