A course with a good deal of potential. I played this course in October, after all of the beach-going families had left for the season. With it wide open and empty it was a fun round. Long fairways, interesting bends, and good pin placements. However, there are no permanent teeboxes or signs so there is room for improvement. I would NOT try and play this on a warm weekend.

A new course, long and mostly open, but still challenging line needed to make good! Mostly flat...but the changes in elevation are utilized very strategically. New tee signs are great, and sometime soon, tees will be improved from the natural earth. This course is a work in progress, but there is nothing like it in Connecticut. A nice open park course. No elevation changes, but some holes with lots of distance. This is where I take new players, so they don't get frustrated hitting trees at Bridgeport or Cranbury. This course is unplayable on summer weekends due to picnickers, but it's a great course for the other 3 seasons.
