Jeff G 58 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Played an afternoon threesome. It was in the 60's, calm, and overcast. I was down two strokes on the final hole and needed a good drive. I pulled my drive a little to the left of the fairway, off my mark. It disappeared over the hill, but had good speed - I was a little worried about the creek that borders the left side of the course. When I got to the top of the hill, I could see my disc within 5 feet of the basket - it must have travelled left and then skipped 40 feet, slightly to the right, around a guardian tree, and landed in the bullseye. I made birdie and Raymond bogeyed. We finished tied. I was +4 for the day. Raymond was +4 and Ronald was +9."

Jeff G 60 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Played a morning fivesome; We all played regular. It was sunny, cool and humid, ranging from 62 degrees to 70 degrees. Raymond was +4. Rodney was +2. Jeremy was +6. Ronald was +11. I was +6. I threw my Mamba on some of my drives with good results. I was high a lot, but within the fairway. I drove to the bottom the hill on Hole 3 and to within 10 feet of the two trees on Hole 13. On other holes, I didn't drive especially well. My second shots were excellent though, pinning the hole at least twice after poor drives. On Hole 17, my short set up drive was wide right, out of the fairway and far enough to the trees that I did not have a clear shot at the Hole. I ended up in the trees on the left side after my "right handed" second shot and then down the hill, 20 feet away from the pin after my third shot. I two-putted from there. The discs were a little slick from the morning dew, but I was able to dry them effectively. I putted well within the circle, saving par with some longer putts - except Hole 17. Raymond had a "so-so" round. Jeremy is a bigger fella that puts a lot of spin on his throws. He hasn't been playing very long but does well. Ronald was a little erratic - his foot is doing well enough that he began crow hopping on some of this drives again. I think that has thrown him off - switching back and forth between stationary and crow hopping. Rodney did ok at +2."

Jeff G 64 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Played a morning threesome; We all played regular. It was sunny, warm and humid, starting at 72 degrees. Raymond was +2. Ronald was +13. I was +10. I threw my Roadrunner on some of my drives with poor results. I was high a lot and erratic at times. The discs were again a little slick from the morning dew. It cost me a couple of strokes when the discs slipped out of my hand on some drives, including, again, on Hole 18 where I made bogey. I did not putt well at all, inside or outside the circle - I missed a bunny for par Hole 14. Raymond started off well but he let up when it was clear that Ronald and I were having a bad round. Ronald is still playing with a stationary stance on his drives. Both Raymond and Ronald went swimming to recover a disc Raymond had lost in the creek yesterday. They were successful in their efforts and recovered an additional disc as well."

Jeff G 59 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Played a morning twosome; We all played regular. It was sunny, warm and humid, starting at 72 degrees. Ronald was +8, after playing a round just before our round. I was +5. I threw a flex, Roadrunner on some of my drives with mixed results. I had a long drive on Hole 3, but threw it too high on my drive of Hole 11. I turned it over on my second shot of Hole 11, that left me short of the hole and in the trees. The discs were a little slick from the morning dew. It cost me a couple of strokes when the discs slipped out of my hand on some drives, including on Hole 18 where I made double bogey. I made a putt outside the circle for birdie on Hole 1. But I missed a bunny for par Hole 4. I putted well within the circle, otherwise. Ronald played a solid round but was still handicapped by a stationary stance on his drives. - He needs to use a drop step/cross step instead of a hop in his approach to his drives. It would alleviate some of the stress on his knee and foot that causes some of his pain. - He also again watched a few putts roll 20 feet away after hitting the pin."

Jeff G 59 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Played a morning twosome: Ronald played a pseudo California style; and I played California style. Sunny, ranging from 71 to 76 degrees in the shade. The Ronald was +8. I was +5. The round was 1 hour 15 minutes. Ronald's has been nursing a sore left knee. He has lost 30 to 50 feet in distance from all his long throws, including his drive, by throwing from a stationary position - no walking approach. The distance on my long throws has been in flux, as I have gotten stronger. On some of my bogey holes, I was again pulling my drives or leaving them short. The distance on some of my other drives and second shots was better than usual. I had to use different discs and throws than I typically use at Sertoma Field. I did not put well on long puts within the circle, missing some birdie and par opportunities."

Jeff G 60 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Played a threesome: Raymond played regular; Ronald and I played California style. Clear and sunny, ranging from 69 to 80 degrees in the shade. Raymond was even. Ronald was +9. I was +6. This was Ronald's first round at Sertoma Field California style, down from best of two discs. Ronald had to retrieve one of his discs from the creek at Hole 5 which delayed the round by approx. 45 minutes. On some of my bogey holes, I was pulling my drives, leaving me in the woods with poor second shot opportunities. I didn't fair much better when I used my mulligan on failed drives. Also, when my drives were good, they would sometimes be a little high. I saved some pars with long puts within the circle and some with my mulligan. Raymond was -2 on the front nine and struggled a bit on the back nine."

Jeff G 55 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Played a morning threesome: Raymond played regular; Ronald played best shot with two discs; and I played California style. It was sunny, ranging from 52 to 69 degrees, with wet grass from the morning dew. I tied the Ronald at +1. Raymond was +3. Ronald had one bad hole on hole 5 with a double bogey. Overall he putted well and should have scored much lower but had several rim shots and spit-outs. We didn't lose any discs to the creek."

Jeff G 58 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Played a morning threesome: Raymond played regular; Ronald played best shot with two discs; and I played California style. It was cloudy and comfortable, with a heavy mist and intermittent light rain - the grass was wet. Raymond was +3. I was +4. Ronald was +7. This was my first round after 5 weeks of recovery from an injury to my side. This was also my first round after adding a drop step on my drives. The drop step kept some of the twisting and torsional stress off my back and side and lengthened the distance of my drives. Also, this was my first round using my "Flow" and "Aviar" discs. The Flow disc added 20 feet and height to my drives while my Aviar disc was a good approach disc for Hole 12. Ronald lost a disc when it landed in the middle of the fairway on Hole 5 and rolled 30 feet sideways into the creek (found 5/17/05). He didn't play well throughout the round."
