Seatac DGC

This course is very nice. It's challenging, especially the back, but the flow is pretty good. It could definitely use some signage to navigate the course a little easier and hole diagram/yardage signs at every hole, but some of these very tough holes with very specific flight patterns and spots to hit to be successful makes this a really good course in my book. This course is very nice. It's challenging, especially the back, but the flow is pretty good. It could definitely use some signage to navigate the course a little easier and hole diagram/yardage signs at every hole, but some of these very tough holes with very specific flight patterns and spots to hit to be successful makes this a really good course in my book. Novice/Rec players may get a little discouraged on this course. The constant sound of overhead planes is a bit of a nuissance, but I noticed that I started to hardly notice by the end of the round. That may have to do with the fact the the final holes are some of the more difficult I played, so my mind was definitely honed in on trying to figure out what to throw and how (as opposed to paying attention to the planes). I definitely recommend this course if you're looking for a challenge and want to put your skills to the test.

This Place is Difficult for sure! My Problem with the Course is a Follows... 1. Sign's or the Lack there of. For the Few that are there, they are Old and Moldy... Literally. I took a Picture of the Course Map, but that didn't help so much. 2. No #'s on the Baskets, not even sure if I was Throwing @ the Right Hole's. I Did Finish 18 Hole's though. 3. What's the Par for this Place, cause without the Sign's... No way to Tell! The Scene say's it's a Par 54... NO WAY! Needs to be Updated! 4. Who Ever ...

I know my Review may seem Harsh, But with some TLC this Place could be EPIC! I'll Give it a Year and I'll be Back to See what is done... You walk the course and see old concrete structures disappearing into the underbrush, stairs leading to nowhere, ponds and old hedges line the holes. Abandon hope ye who enter here... This place will eat you alive, enough said. Set in the decaying remains of a housing area that got destroyed when they added a new runway at the airport, Seatac is a spooky place. You walk the course and see old concrete structures disappearing into the underbrush, stairs leading to nowhere, ponds and old hedges line the holes. Add to that the constant noise of Jets coming in 200 feet over your head, including the cool phenomenon called jet-wash. The course is par 54 which is laughable, the locals say it plays more like a par 60, but they are just numbers right? This course is all about placement, there are 600 foot holes, where you need to layup off the tee 150 feet, so you have a chance at a 400 foot second shot. If you get off track anywhere along the way you are looking at a six! Only two holes let you take a breather and give you regular birdie looks. The people who live near this course have a wonderful teaching aid. That being said, I suggest newbies find a local or take a picture of the map at the start of the course because it is a little confusing along the way. Also there is a good potential to lose discs, so keep your eyes on that bad boy the whole way.

So go play, and get destroyed by Seatac, and go home and wonder if disc golf is really the sport you should be playing...Then pick yourself up dust yourself off and get back in there! That course will teach you things!
