Screaming Heads is a must on any disc golfers bucket list. If you get the chance, play the course. Played the OD tour finale last weekend; first OD event, first time at Screaming Heads... unbelievable. The weather was absolutely garbage for the first two rounds on Saturday (Rain, Mud, 8 degrees Celsius), however, the attitudes of the OD golfers and the fantastic scenery at the course kept a smile on my face. Played the OD tour finale last weekend; first OD event, first time at Screaming Heads... unbelievable. The weather was absolutely garbage for the first two rounds on Saturday (Rain, Mud, 8 degrees Celsius), however, the attitudes of the OD golfers and the fantastic scenery at the course kept a smile on my face. Stayed at the nearby "Cutter Camp" in Burk's Falls for $40 a night in a small, but clean trailer... I'd recommend camping on-site however (as I will next time) to fully immerse yourself in the party. Sunday was equally as cold, but the sun was shining for a nice change and I was really able to appreciate the course as it should be played. Imagine golfing in a Salvador Dali painting. Enough said.
