Work day is on. See you out there @10:00.

I'm still planning on working on the course tomorrow. Don't know about anyone else, but I will be there at 10:00. We will have to see if the ground is firm enough to drive on, but so far so good. If it is raining probably wont be out there long. Bring a wheelbarrow if you have one and can bring it. Don't forget rakes and shovels. I'm thinking we should work on the back holes, and maybe the city will finish the top holes. Don't really want them tearing up the back holes with there tractor. Still need to spread chips up top though.

I am going out for a while this morning. some spreading i will do.

If anyone wants to rake out the chips around the baskets, go for it. I was thinking of leaving it fairly thick under the basket. The chips will settle and get spread out soon enough. Just make the area level and cover the dirt. The tee pad areas need a thin layer around them to reduce the amount of chips from being dragged onto the pads, but go ahead and spread the rest out. If you think there is too much in some areas take the extra to the alternate baskets that they didn’t put chips on, ... more

In that case we will have a work day. Hope they didnt tear it up too much.
Rick Wardell December 7, 2010 at 4:18pm
Awsome!!!! I was hopeing they would do something.
David ''Eky'' Ekenstam December 7, 2010 at 4:07pm
The city went around to most of the tee pads on the top and dumped a bunch of woodchips. They just need to be raked around better.

We may still have a work day this Saturday 11 Dec. but we will have to see if the grounds firms up, or freezes. I will post if we are working or not, Friday morning. Keep an eye out. Like I said in my first post “if you want to take wheelbarrows out there go ahead anytime you want”. Don’t need to have a work day for that.

What a fun round, "Triples" and skins. Thanx Todd, come back soon!!

Due to the warmer weather, and snow melt this week, the ground is too soft to drive trucks on. We just don’t want to leave too many tire tracks on our beautiful course. Hopefully the city won’t go out and tear it up today. We will shoot for next week. Thanks to those who were planning on coming out. Hopefully you can make it next week. If you can’t we will understand. Please get the word out.

Just moving this back to the top again.. I will be working this Staurday and next Saturday. We were thinking of having a prewinter work day. Too late I know, but we should try to get some wood chips spread out around the baskets, tee pads, and trails. I asked the city to spread chips around all of those areas, but I am not counting on that happening. I was thinking of Dec 4th or the 11th or both. Bring shovels, rakes, wheel barrows, and anything you can think of to move and disperse chips. I ... more

I am loving the new (long) pins! I would like to see the baskets stay in the long settiing for a while.
Mike Correll September 24, 2010 at 1:21pm
People (NUDGA) really take good care and pride in this course, getting a little crowded these days but well worth it. Lots of new pin placements so the signs are a little out of date but just follow the groups ahead of you. Enjoy :o)

Is this place like ultra clean, the tee signs are premo and navigation of the course is a piece of cake that people give this course a A+? Im just wondering i have heard it is a nice course

I'm pretty sure it on tomorrow. Just wasn't sure who was running it. Nothing posted here.
Rick Wardell August 5, 2010 at 12:21pm
Is anyone running the Eyes on the Prize this weekend. Haven’t seen much traffic on here this week about it. I have other plans but, others might like to know for sure.
Just wanted to say thanks to those that showed up for the work day. We got a lot done. Still more to do, but what we got done looks good. THANKS
