Some of the baskets on the back 9 have and will be moved. We moved basket” A” last night. It is further back and left. Take a look before you shoot. We have plans to move more so make sure the basket is there before you shoot. We will probably get them all moved this weekend. Enjoy!!!!!

Just bringing this back to the top. More added at the bottom. It looks like the only time we are going to be able to work on the course before the Riverpark open will be on the 28th and 29th of May. So we are calling for an all hands NUDGA work day then. We really need more workdays than that, but stuff is going on so it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. It looks like the only time we are going to be able to work on the course before the Riverpark open will be on the 28th and 29th of May. So we are calling for an all hands NUDGA work day then. We really need more workdays than that, but stuff is going on so it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. If you have a weed eater or something and you want to go out and work on your own, go for it. If you are a NUDGA and you come out on the work days to play you will be harassed by those of us that will be working. Details to come. I will be bringing this to the top of this board as needed till then. Please get the word out to those that don’t get on the scene. I will post a sign on the course too. It looks like we will have a skid steer out there so we will need trucks and people to haul and spread dirt and wood chips. The city did say that would try come out and mow so we need to outline all of the upper fairways. We have a new city Puplic Works Director, so we need to show him what we can do. The plan is to fix as many of the tee pads as possable, knock down the weeds, do some trail work, and a general clean up. Rod will have his skid loader out there so no more loading trucks by hand. So bring your weed eaters, or whatever you may have to take down weeds. We need trucks too if you have them, or just come out and help. Looks like Rod posted 9:00am to 12:00pm but some of us will be working longer if the course isnt too busy.

Watch out on hole "G" there is a giant beehive 15ft away from the yellow pad... Its in a hole in a tree at eye level... I hope nobody messes with them for the next group of golfers to deal with. There is a few hundred bees....

Call it a graveyard. Call it the lottery. Call it candy store. I'll call it "holy disc factory" as I found 6 discs this morning on the edge of the water between #15 and #8, all within 20ft of each other. (saw one other I could reach too)

You can now enter scores for long and short pins so be careful because there are alot of options to choose from now including 20 hole flood rounds

I also thought the council meeting went really well. Thanks to Alex for speaking on NUDGAS behalf, he did a really good job. Also thanks to Judie Johnson for speaking to council as a club member and a resident of Riverdale. We also presented a 800.00 check to Ronald Mcdonald house yesterday. They also would like to return favor and help out our club as well. Also nudga had a small meeting this past weekend and a lot of important issues were discussed. Get ready for a great 2011.

right on rick, we all need to be more aware of our environment out there. it is a discgolf course not a bar. and yes, i drink out there but i load up my bag in my jeep, have a cooze, and will never leave a fallen solider behind. we all need to police the course, if we don't, the "real" police will. so lets be smart!! but on the flip side, i got a great feeling as i was presenting to the city council. they know how busy the course is. and during the presentation, the major addressed how he ... more

Yes there was positive stuff. They like what we are doing out there, but there was just that 1 thing. Illegal activity. The city council had nothing negative to say. They seemed happy with what we have been doing, but they didn’t really say anything. We talked to a few before the meeting none had anything bad to say. Overall I think the city is pleased with us. Alex asked for info on grants for course improvements. Thanked them for allowing us to be there and told them what we have accomplished as far as charity tournaments go, and our contributions to the community.
Permits for tournaments is still to be determined, but there was good feelings from them too. We still need to get together with them when they have time. Didn’t really get into it very much.

Sorry for the just negative stuff, but that one bad thing could get us closed down eventually, it is getting out of control again and it is only going to get worse if nothing is said.

Also, not everyone is a part of discgolfscene, so if you see someone breaking the rules, or not being descreat, please nicely pass on the news about the city. And to add one more thing, watch your alcohol intake all together. There's been a couple insidents where people have drank way too much and passed out. That's just uncalled for and asking for the police to come out. Let's remember this is a sport and we should try to give disc golf a good reputation! Thanx:)

Lost a white disc about a week ago with the logo of purple in color that says berZerkley on it between the first and fourth hole somewhere on the road or in the grass at riverdale park, sure would like to get it back, it has either matski name or dave f.

I lost a dark purple Champion Destroyer Sunday. Its got my number on it, i putted on 17 or 18 and left it. It'd be cool if someone picked it up. We'll see i guess

The Riverpark Open is sanctioned for the 4th and 5th of June. Lets start preparing for this!! It's going to be a great year!!

I lost a 175 glow destroyer with a blue 2009 Las Vegas Halloween Classic Stamp of an Evil cat on it, on hole 1 by wood piles. It had no name or number on it. $20 or Favorite Plastic reward if found. Thanks.

The city just told me that they are going to do some work on the riverbed in the hole 6 area and that they are going to dump some rock in there. Please give them the courtesy of not throwing while they are there working there. Use your best judgment. They are going to make the area muddy they said. CRAP !!! I asked them to let me know if we need to move the basket. We may need to bring an old basket out of retirement. Just guessing. Could happen.
