Riverbend Disc Golf Trail

Pristine park offering plenty of activities to keep anybody busy. The disc golf trail is well manicured and offers plenty of good along with some head scratching. Concrete tee pads are great as well as the condition of the baskets. First couple of holes are nice warm ups, but then you head to a small area cramming about 4 holes together all are extremely short and uneventful. Pristine park offering plenty of activities to keep anybody busy. The disc golf trail is well manicured and offers plenty of good along with some head scratching. Concrete tee pads are great as well as the condition of the baskets. First couple of holes are nice warm ups, but then you head to a small area cramming about 4 holes together all are extremely short and uneventful. From there it begins to open up and the rest of the course is very pleasant all in all. I played in late Autumn so the brush and leaves were all but gone, however it was clear that many of these holes could be disc searching nightmares during the growing season. The last three holes appeared to be recovering from a recent period of standing water so flooding may also come into play in this area from time to time. Had a very enjoyable time visiting this park, and will have no problem coming back in the future.

Fun from both tee pads, shorts are pretty easy. Longs are diffucilt to find/non existant on a couple holes, some are painted on the walking path. Some holes are tough to find; after hole fifteen you walk back towards the parking lot and then across (another) sweet bridge on the left and the long tee is to the left. Great mix of long, short and technical shots. Possibly a lot of walkers in the nicer months might slow play on just a few holes but should be fine. A lot of trouble, good place to ...

A lot of trouble, good place to lose a disc, with thick brush/woods, long grass, and a little water on hole 2. One of my favorites, if your're driving down rt23 in NW Ohio you should stop and check it out. They have discatchers and hole 18 Long is 600 ft! Haha hole one is like 200 ft. The front nine is a great warmup for the back and the front also has blackberries growing in the summer by the tee pads.

Easy course from the shorts where everything is reachable ,the pros i have played are kind of pointless when i played there were pros for 3 4 5 and 17 (i think those where the only ones) and only offer a 100 feet to each so the holes ended up being 300 instead of 200 i didn't like this . During summer people camp on 17's fairway so that kind of sucks. not a fan of the innova baskets . Also the course floods bad and sometimes the holes by the river are unplayable OK that's the negative,now ...

OK that's the negative,now even having short holes the back nine adds some nice wooded areas unlike the front nine which was pretty open ,the back nine has some technical shoots and tight gaps ,I really like these holes
Its a nice course and very beginner friendly
