31 floors of elevation on this challenging wooded course. Well designed and maintained. Roll aways are a threat on most holes. No water hazards. The rough is forgiving on most holes. New cement pads. Signage could be better. Big parking lot.

I miss this course. I have been away from Asheville for 7 years and still play DG up here in NH. I always think about this awesome course. I miss it. If you ever get within 100 miles Asheville, go there to play. This course will challenge you.

This is a really terrific course and very fun to play. For the most part the fairways are fair with a few exceptions. The elevation is great and used well . My first round playing here was played with "OB" who showed me around the course and he was a great guild and I thank him much. I shot several over my first round and 1 under the second round so you can really improve out here if you are patient with yourself and take your time. The one really great thing I noticed was NO TRASH anywhere this ...

I live in ga. but when im in the asheville area I make it a point to play this course. There are many technical shots required to par this course which I love. I am predominantly a sidearm thrower so this course is especially difficult for me as many of the holes require a backhand drive. The course utilizes a deep ravine on many of the holes but can get a bit redundant at times mostly because climbing the steep hills gets a bit old. Rollaways will definately have you cussing as there are so many steep inclines on the course. Great course and very challenging.

Good course. Up hill, down hill, flat, hill top to hill top, blind dog legs, trees, alleys, short, medium, long, multiple placements. all its doesnt have is water and wind. its easy to find each hole and has a friendly local club. Challenges your technical game, distance game, mental game, and due to elevation changes your putting game. It is basically a test to see where you stand overall and will exploit your weaknesses.

This course is an amazing course to really test your accuracy. Most of the course is set in heavily wooded areas and every hole has 3 different basket places which they rotate from every so often. This course is NOT a beginners course IMO. Every so often I will go to see how much better I have gotten in that time period between visits. It also is a great course for training mental toughness. For example: you drive off the tee and about 40 ft or so you slam right into a tree, most beginner player ...

GREAT mountain course in awesome Asheville! For the most part this course is perfect with one exception. The steep ravine that runs through the course makes for some great holes but it is used the exact same way to many times. Dont get me wrong the bombs over the chasm are great but they only use the fall line directly up and down and dont use off camber angles as much as they could have. Still, there are many memorable holes throughout and Asheville is stoked to have this course. I personally ...
