To prepare the courses for the Summit County Disc Golf Championship (August 10 and 11), there will be a work day at Portage Lakes DGC on Sun. July 14 from 10 AM to 2 PM and at Hudson Springs DGC on Sun. July 21, also from 10 AM to 2 PM. Whatever time that you can contribute during those times will be appreciated. At Portage Lakes, the focus will be on clearing the weeds on the sides of #15, behind the ridge on #14 and on the sides of #10 (bring your weed whackers!). Thanks!

I would also like to see the concrete pads for the short tees exended about 3 feet to allow a proper walk up. I found myself crowded on those smaller tees which definitely affected my throwing. I would also like to see the concrete pads for the short tees exended about 3 feet to allow a proper walk up. I found myself crowded on those smaller tees which definitely affected my throwing. But this is a beautiful course and I will be back. Well worth the 50 mile drive from Cleveland to play, though my score in the tourny will not help me in my quest to achieve a 900 rating.
