Pioneer Ridge Nature Center

Fun, unique course located in beautiful Nature Center. Cabins and camping on site. Cabins are awesome and sleep up to 9 people. Course features 3 ponds and stresses accuracy except for 710 feet long hole 9. "Its no Walk in the Park".

Still no paved pads. Been lots of rain so its very wet. makes for harder drives.

Interesting layout. Baskets are very nice. Has a monsterous 700' par 5, in a very nice nature area. Plays rather quickly. I saw on another review that they thought this course would be finished off and have 18 holes. I since heard this is not the case. The grass pads aren't the best. It could really improve with paved pads!

This is the newest of the Disc Golf Courses in the Ottumwa area. It has only 10 baskets now but have been told they are going to expaned to 18 after raising more money. This is a nature center so 9 of the 10 pads are dirt not concrete wich can be bad if it is wet out. This course has it all water shots long drives hole 8 is 700+ feet and curved around a pond. Tree shots hiden baskete shots up hill and down hill shots. Some holes can be made more difficult by the OB areas. This is a great course for new and seasoned players.
