Grant Harris 53 - One Regular (White), One Forward (Red), 18 holes "I lost by one point and one stroke to Alex Barret. I was never in the lead as I started cold since I lost my favorite disc so it took about 9 holes to get used to a new disc. Best nine from the reds at -5. He was winning by three strokes at a point. Then he was winning by one point with two holes left. Then he threw a bad drive and a threw a good drive but it clipped a tree at the very end of its flight. Then I was close to the basket but was very nervous and miss-threw my putt. Then he still led me by one with one hole left. Then he threw his drive and had about 25-30 feet left for his putt so I knew I had to ace it to win. Then the disc slipped early out of my hand. Then I was left with 60 feet to even have a chance to tie. Then I took my time and eventually threw a good far putt that hit the top front of the basket. IT WAS SOOOOOO CLOSE! The end.
The best throw was a flick on hole 3 shorts that went over the trees and right behind the basket. That was my closest ace run on the day. Others were that I overthrew my throw in hole 4 shorts that it hit the wood chips and then it should have skipped a lot but when it skipped, it hit the bottom of the basket. The other one was my drive on hole 2 longs hit the grass in front of the basket, skipped, and hit the front of the basket. Good putts came on hole 1 and 4. Worst approach ever on hole 1 longs as I completely went 90 degrees to the right of the fairway, then I threw a second approach shot and lost my favorite disc. Bad putts occurred on hole 5 longs, and hole 6, 7, and 8 shorts. Worst round of the year at this course."Friday, July 5, 2019

Grant Harris 47 - One Regular (White), One Forward (Red), 18 holes "BEST BIRDIE EVEEEEERRRRR for me! On hole 9 longs, I threw a good, but not excellent, tee shot that landed one inch left of the fairway. Then I had about 80-feet left for my putt. Then I threw my see-threw blue putter on a jump putt, and it landed right in the basket. The longest hole that I got a birdie on before this was a 305-foot hole. This hole was 412 feet. It was the best-executed hole ever since I never got an ace, and my best putt ever. Never threw it in the basket from a distance farther than this besides at my house. On hole 1 shorts, I got a lucky birdie as I decided to putt with my Flick driver because it was windy. The putt went left-right-left-in. The other highlight was my first birdie on hole 5 longs. It was the best turn-over drive I have had ever or in a while. The lowlights were my bad approach on 3 short which I followed with a bad putt. Then I had a bad putt on hole 7 shorts. It was a new PR for shorts and longs with a -7, which was better than my -8 playing 2 shorts. It was probably the best score I have ever had or +10 at Brown Deer playing par 54."Thursday, June 20, 2019

Grant Harris 46 - Forward Tees 2x (Red), 18 holes "The first nine was very good and a new PR for me. -6 for 9 holes from the reds. My putting was good and bad at times. Switched to a better putter but not used to it, yet. The throw that gave me a lot of success was backhand hyzer. My flick is just the right disc to do that. I really like that hyzer on 3 and 5. This round was the ace run round of my life. Three almost aces and one extremely close ace. The very first throw of the day was a HUUUUUGE hyzer. it landed one foot in front of the basket. One foot farther would be an ace for $110."Thursday, June 6, 2019

Grant Harris 49 - One Regular (White), One Forward (Red), 18 holes "Up and Down round for me with putting. I threw the holes that required short hyzers well, but none of my drives were REALLY good. Good birdie putts on hole 1, 2, 5, and 7 shorts and hole 2 longs. Bad birdie misses on hole 8 and 6 shorts. Bad approach on hole 9 longs. Bad jump putt for birdie and par putt on hole 7 longs. A NEW PR for the shorts and longs, and a round of shorts with a -5. Got 2nd place and came 2 strokes from winning outright. A little windy. It mentally messed me up some of the times."Thursday, May 30, 2019

Grant Harris 51 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I mistakenly said that I got a -2 on my card. I actually got a -3. My previous PR was a -3 but that occureed when I played the longs and shorts. This was my first time playing 2x longs. It was pretty succesful. Reasons for this good score are I can throw a big hyzer so I conquered hole 6 longs. I can also throw a decent forehand so I conquered hole 7 longs and hole 3. All of my throws were on the conservitive side except hole 1 the second time around and hole 3 the first time around. The drive on hole 3 was too much to the right. We almost did not find it. Then I tried to layup. I failed. Then I threw a putt in a tight gap and around 30 feet or longer and MADE IT. It was the best par save ever. Then on hole 6, I threw a no chain putt birdie. It was lucky. On hole 1, a threw my farthest drive ever that was not down hill. It was about 340 feet. The other birdies were tap ins. For hole 5, my approach hit a limb early and I had no choice but to boogie after that mistake."Friday, July 6, 2018

Grant Harris 56 - One Regular (White), One Forward (Red), 18 holes "Really muggy outside and considerably warm for an evening. I lot of slipped throws. Only liked was hole 3 from longs. First birdie ever on that hole. Also, it was the only hole where I put my fingers through the dusty dirt. Sometimes, dirt tee pads are better than cement when I do not carry chalk with me. I was successful on hole 3 for that reason and for some reason I forgot to do it on every other hole. I also did not like starting on reds since I would rather be warmed up for birdies on short holes than for pars on longer holes. I did good from the longs but bad from the shorts for that reason."Tuesday, June 12, 2018
