What an enjoyable course! Have not played the new layout, as it was being constructed when I was there last. The first 3 holes in particular remind me of the great Northern Wisconsin courses, however, the old 9-15 were so... well... Illinois - very open. With that said, however, I am planning on moving back home to central IL, and hope to live in Morton, which would make this my new "home course". A+ arguably the best course in the Peoria area which has some high caliber courses new additions to course make it a bit funkier and for people who grew up playing there we understand the new holes and paths.. Was far overdue. Although I will admit 13 is a little excessive.. But home to many friendly stoners and people!!

Love the course. Do not like the new tee pads though. They have to much grip.

Only thing keeping this course from an A is the recent addition of 2 new holes which are good holes,, but changing things around, they now lack all concrete tee pads. Lots of elevation changes, and even some water and plenty of hard rough, also poor signage with the reconstruction of the course
