In my opinion hands down greatest course in Alaska! Concrete tee pads, clean and fair fairways! Also, the greatest crew of workers who keep the park looking amazing! The course is mowed every other week, if trees need cut or cleaned up they are never there more than a week! Awesome carouse!

Most enjoyable course I've played, overall. Shorts are fair and fun for most skill levels. Longs are challenging without being unfair or unreasonable. Rewards forehands and backhands equally. Course is a joy to play with the mowed fairways, but you can pay if you get into the long grass and shrubs.

One of the best courses you'll fin in the nation. Has all elements and tests every aspect of your game. It also plays fair with groomed fairways, but is brutal when it comes to areas off the fairway. Every time i leave this course I have elevated my game.

Pros: great fairways, interesting, challenging hole designs. A long and a short course. Technical but not unfair.

Cons: the grass off the fairways is extremely tall and easy to lose discs in. Patches of devil's club/cow parsnip.

Rachel Parra and her crew at the rec center completely mowed and widened every single fairway, the course in now easily one of the best in the state. It's playing amazing and improvements are still being made. Only complaint that you can have at this point is teepads, but regardless this course is now an easy A even without that as long as the mowed fairways stay maintained!

Was a decent course fairways have tight to next to no lane on multiple holes and teepad and pin locations are a little to close to one another on a few holes

This course has the land, layout, baskets, signage, and beauty to be an A+ course. Baskets are installed to perfection, course is easy to follow, multiple tees on many holes, excellent signs, gorgeous land, pretty solid design. This course has so many positives, unfortunately the tee pads are bad and the rough isn't just rough, it's ridiculous. Natural teepads aren't a problem, but sand/rock is not good. Use wood/rubber chips if staying natural. Rough is expected on any golf course, but the roug ...

Needs a lot of work. Trail between tees and baskets look like they were just bulldozed and left as it. WAY to much grass. Spend more time hunting for discs than playing.

Course needs a lot of work! A lot of tall grass that makes it near impossible to find your discs. A lot of dead shrubs and trees laying down that need to be taken out and more throwing lanes cleared a little but more. Possibly some redesign of a couple holes. All in all it's a fun course with some awesome looks. Just spend more time looking for discs than hucking some plastic.

I've only been throwing a couple months so take this review for what it's worth... I thought it was a great course! well marked & laid out. I threw from the amateur tees & threw a +4 the 1st time through. It is easy to loose discs in the tall grass ion the rough, but it's a woods course in Alaska... Nicer tees would get it an A but it's already got the best tees on the Peninsula.

Pretty challenging course. Some long drives with lots of trees. Watch out for the tall grass if you hook one out in the woods you will be looking for a while. Keep on the lookout for moose and bears also.

This course needs some work. Too much tall grass. You either land on Fairway or your disc is gone. Really fun to play though!
