Baskets are in! Northern Michigan has a top tier course. Wow is the best I have, the par 4's are simply unreal! This course will make you or break you! You will need a full bag and your tricks for playing the pro tees! Shorts tees are in as well and the looks I had were pretty awesome! Some of the coolest elevation shots and best lines I have yet to play. Be prepared to hike and I recommend bring bug spray, good hiking shoes and an Epi-pen if needed. Do not forget your camera either! The ...

Epic ski hill course. Massive uphill holes and downhill bombs. Super tight technical wooded in between. A Hanson Hill type workout, but worth the hike. Fantastic views of Lake Michigan. Elevated and landscaped tees and pads. Votex baskets were catching machines. Long and shorts present very challenging pad and pin placements each. A little tough to navigate, but some play will create paths and the boys up there did a great job on temp signs. Some work to go out there, tee pads are currently bein ...

A great challenge for any level. Tight fairways, big bombers & inclined up shots this course has it all. Some of the negs were partial to the course not being finished. Nobody likes to crank it 600' otta beach sand.

First off, course setting is awesome. Some great scenery and the elevation change is awesome. That being said, some of the holes were simply grip, rip, and pray you miss all the tree clusters blocking the fairway. The ski hill up then down was pretty awesome, makes you feel weak then strong. Some holes felt completely forced and unnecessary. I I played on a Monday at 1pm and had to deal with kids, hikers, runners, and construction(completely blocked a hole 12 I think?). Near my cabin but will likely not be playing there regularly.

A very difficult terrain to walk. Not for the casual player. Holes are very challenging and long from pro tees. Am tees are still no none sense. Best views in Diacgolf without a doubt. I cannot spoil the surprise when you get to the top of Mt McSauba...you will have to climb it to see for yourself. Bring your own water and mosquito repellant in the summer months. Must Play!!!

By far the most insane Disc Golf course ever imagined.

A great piece of property with a bunch of world class golf holes. Fantastic views and bad scores await you. A few very long walks in between holes. Bring lots of water, bug spray. Playing in a foursome from the longs will take 4-6 hours, depending if you know the course. Not a course for novice golfers, bring your "A" game.

Awesome course except for the walk to hole 3 and them back the same direction to hole 4. 2B can remain the practice hole/basket and remove hole 3 making it an 18 hole course.

Epic is a great word to describe this course. Very beautiful and challenging, and you get your exercise for sure. I like it more each time I play it. The last few holes combined with the first few are great for a short round if you don't have much time.

I love Mt.Mcauba. MM has the potential to be a championship course. Incredible variety and good use of elevation, tight woods, HUGE downhill bombs, and awesome x link baskets. It hosts extreme hiking in comparison to surrounding courses. +Offering two tee sets (red and blue) MM offers accessibility to casuals/ams from red and extreme challenge for pros from blue. +HUGE TEEPADS! +Hands down the two best views in a NM disc golf course. +Some of most aesthetically pleasing fair ...

Very hilly course. Not for faint of heart. Beautiful views along with beautiful holes to match them views. Good amount of water and some snacks a must. Wooded with plenty of elevation. Tight shots left and right. If in the area diffently stop and check it out. The beach is really something also.

Although this course has amazing views and some good holes, the signing is VERY poor and difficult to follow. Went with my brother recently and had very difficult time find the next tee pad with just one arrow pointing the general direction towards a path in the woods with multiple other crossing paths. Even the signage at the tee pads were designed upside down. With the basket at the bottom and the tee pad on the top of the sign it made for more confusion. Only thing saving this rating from a D or worse is the spectacular views from the top of the mountain.

Pros - Hole difficulty was up there on nearly all the holes. To score well you need a great shot on almost all the tighter lines here. But a good scramble game can get you the 3 but not likely a 2. - Views were outstanding. The topography here is nasty. Hiking boots highly recommended. - Vortex baskets are very nice, even though a couple were mangled at their tops from fallen trees but were still somewhat playable. -Well defined teeing areas. Some were conc ...

Wonderful view, beautiful course! Definitely some of my favorite holes on this one. Hole 5 starts at the middle of a hill and works its way to the top. There, you will see a forest at the bottom of the hill and the endless lake right behind. The next hole then goes strait back down the same hill. That is a lot of fun! There are a few long walks to the next holes like 2-3 and 3-4. I highly recommend that you take a picture of the map in the parking lot with you phone so that it doesn't take you t ...

Man what a course. Some tee signs missing for long holes 5,10, had a hard time finding hole 3,9. For me this is a very tight course at times and the lines you take off the tee will leave you with edge c1 putts to struggle with after battling the massive mt mcsauba and wind off lake michigan

Great course. Very difficult, with a wide range of shots necessary. There is a lot of hiking between holes, but the pay offs are well worth it. Highly reccomend.

We visited this course while it was still in develop so we played about 12 holes. Loved the ski slope holes. Come in good aerobic condition. Hopefully their course direction signs have improved, we got lost a few times. Some unique holes, no just the ski hill but also some along creek beds. Will plan to return someday when we are back in the area.

UDisc app helped tremendously with finding holes! There is a sign for those that don't want to get it take a picture of that. It is a great course with fantastic views! It is a must! Could use more garbage cans and that's about the only negative I can say

Prepare to hike! Fun, challenging, picturesque course nestled among the dunes. Lots of great elevation changes, but it would be nice to have more downhill shots. I know the tee signs have QR codes to look up hole stats & layout, but for those of us who don't like to use our phones throughout the round, some simple arrows near the baskets indicating the next tee box would be super helpful. Some holes were missing signs which made it hard to navigate. Otherwise, I'll be back to play again for sure. Props to Ric and anyone else that helped make this course a reality!
