Busy park but really nice setting, I pulled in and there were I kid you not, 20 people putting on the same basket, I thought it was a jumbo putt. So its a nice park, id recommend coming during the day and not on weekends. I went on a Thursday after 5pm and there were groups of 4 on every hole, some guys tried to pass me as I waited for the group infront of me to clear out.

Mount Simon is not a bad little community/college/beginner course. Most of the holes are between 250-300 feet, and deucable for better players. great place though to have a few brews and just toss plastic for fun. Since the park is situated in the middle of Eau Claire, it is typically crowded and play is sometimes pushed. Some of the holes here are unique (5 comes to mind), although most are straight-forward and elevation-less.

Its a funny little technical course but its pretty short. Would probably be good for some people starting out.

All deuceable holes but good variety of shots. Grass is always mowed where it still exists; the dirt is worn out around all the baskets. Cement tees, signage has almost all disappeared but very easy to navigate. VERY busy and slow during peak times otherwise a great little course within the city limits.

The course was in great shape. Some leaves and debris around made it hard to find your lie sometimes but overall it was in great condition.
