Matthew Hull 27 - Regular tees, 9 holes "For the first time in seemingly forever, I played @ Miami Whitewater Forest! Sandy and Ryan and I actually went there to enjoy a bike ride on the 8+ mile loop but of course I had to play the disc golf course a couple of times. Sandy and Ryan even joined me for the first round which was great fun! Ryan ran through almost the entire course without being carried too which speaks to how energetic he is...ha, ha! In any case, I threw quite well overall. I had an amazing save on Hole #2 as I threw my Recoil on a roller and it landed a mere 12-15 ft. from the basket! This was after a Recoil drive that didn't fade at all (threw it with too much turn). I had a wonderful Star Roadrunner drive on #4 (250 ft. an-hyzer line the whole way) and I threw my Star Beast safely to the left on the tricky Hole #8 (massive trees taking up lots of space)."-1
Matthew Hull 26 - Regular tees, 9 holes "My second round was nearly identical to my first round! The only difference was that my Star Roadrunner drive on #4 was pretty much parked this time! My drives were slightly better overall. I have really been working on hitting the hyzer line more smoothly if you will. My Star Beast might be the best driver for hitting that line although the Falcon Servo and rainbow Champion Destroyer are certainly capable. My upshot tonight was very, very good as well. My Megasoft Shield is hitting smooth lines once more. That disc is something when I can throw it the right way!"Friday, March 2, 2018

Matthew Hull 27 - Regular tees, 9 holes "What a fun day that this turned out to be! My good friend Jon and I headed out to Miami Whitewater Forest as he had never played the course before! This certainly wasn't a great opening round for him but I played very, very well! Aside from messing up on the first hole a bit (I didn't play #1 well today for some reason!) I threw the Mayhem well on the hyzer-line holes and got a *great* roll from my Sword on #4 to snag a birdie! Jon put this beautiful Pikachu stamp on my Pro Boss so I threw that one a few times and it felt great! It is becoming more and more rare but I was able to finish with a lower score than Jon which meant that I played pretty well!"+6
Matthew Hull 33 - Regular tees, 9 holes "LOL! All I can say is that Jon and I completely flipped roles this round because I played very poorly while he was on fire! I definitely had some accuracy/control issues this round and even had the basket on #7 literally spit out my 8-10 ft. putt with my Reko! All I could do was smile but it was still a fun time. Jon finished with a score of 25 which is insanely good!"Wednesday, January 31, 2018

Matthew Hull 32 - Regular tees, 9 holes "I am really glad that I decided to play at Miami Whitewater Forest this morning! It was only 38-40 degrees (with a swirling wind to boot) but my trusty hand warmers didn't let me down. I felt really good too. Despite a couple of unusual 5's, it was a decent round overall. Like usual, I threw a TON of discs on holes #3 and 6 as I continue to hunt for Ace #6 lifetime. ;) One of my best throws might have been a slight anhyzer Reko throw on #1 to save par. I threw my Sword pretty well on #9 as well to create an easy opportunity for a solid 3."+2
Matthew Hull 29 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Wow! It certainly wasn't without its warts but I did manage to play better during Round #2 today. The highlight was a Teebird throw on #4 that turned over yet had a fantastic roll to give me my sole 2 of the day! The only disappointment was my inability to get a 3 on #2 or a 2 on #3. Matthew Hull 30 - Regular tees, 9 holes "For the third day in a row, my wife and son joined me which was way cool. I felt really good today and I played pretty well overall. I had a blast trying to ace #3 as I pretty much emptied my bag. Nothing doing although my Mayhem landed right next to the basket. I threw a real beauty on #6 with my Sword disc too. There is definitely ace potential on a few holes here."E
Matthew Hull 27 - Regular tees, 9 holes "This is probably the best round of disc golf that I have ever played at Miami Whitewater Forest! It started with a near perfect Champion Valkyrie drive and took off from there. My Buzz/Nova approach shots were spot on which made for multiple tap-in putts. I nearly aced #6 with my Sword (better throw than even my first round today) and my Champion Groove just missed #3 along with my Champion Valkyrie (hit the pole!) Funny thing is that I got two 3's on #3 due to my Orion throws being a bit off to the left. I need to play #8 better too. And please note that while this site treats the course as a Par 3 course, I ended up at 9 under according to course par. :)"Tuesday, October 10, 2017

Matthew Hull 32 - Regular tees, 9 holes "I had a wonderful throw on #6 with my Stingray (I released it early so that it started out left and came back right for once!) along with a very good eagle on #7. The more I play this course the more I enjoy it!"+5

Hole #3 is a blast at it puts you in a sweet forest setting where you can drive away at the cage. I had a fantastic throw with my Champion Valkyrie here.
