For those who are interested and able, on Saturday morning a couple of us will be working on course cleanup and some brush clearing for some new tees (in particular, a long tee for hole 2). We will be there from 8am to close to noon. If you can come, bring a garbage bag or two and any equipment that you can lend to the situation. They can include wheelbarrows, cutting equipment (saws, etc.), digging equipment (we may work additionally on the steps down from 1 tee), marking equipment, and rakes and such. Dress for the cold and wet!

Low registration numbers so far so you have a far higher chance at the prizes. It's on 10/28, with Pre-reg REQUIRED by 10/11. Registration and details available on the 'Scene. put up some signs! i spent an hour and a half just trying to find the course,, you know, some colored tape showing the way to the next tee would do wonders. never ever found hole 8,, course has a lot of potential to be nice but it has some serious competition nearby.

New to this site ... Is it important to have friends on here?

The layout "Hitch/Schmid/Stutz Safari 12" has been added. Play holes 1-9, followed by:
5B - turn left after hole 9 and walk along path about 100 feet. Tee off from path when the grill near the shelter is immediately on your left. Throw across lake to hole 5.
4B - Tee off from path immediately behind hole 5 to hole 4.
1B - Go up the walking path towards the baseball field. Halfway thru the woods, where the ground becomes more level, tee off to throw to basket 1 (along the walking path and cutting into the woods to the right).

Enjoy!

I'm playing/cleaning course from about 6:15 to 7:30 most Tuesdays and Thursdays thru the end of September. Feel free to join me!

Also, if anyone wants to get together for cleanup/playing a round, I like Sunday mornings, the earlier the better...say 7:30 or 8am.
