Good afternoon - I'm reaching out to you because of a conversation I had with a gentleman today about disc golf. This afternoon a disc golfer called and made a complaint regarding the care of the course. He said it had been vandalized with paint and flags. He further said he took the flags down. Just a heads up it is posted that until the end of August this course on Sunday at 5pm closes and due to the amount of people present for the concert it makes majority of the course unplayable.

That's not all. With the new Splash Park area there are more little people present on weekends and the adults just do not understand that our disc can and have cause injuries. I could not even tee of 18 due to the little people running in front of me and the adult just out of focus when it comes to safety. i'll probably not play after 10am on weekends until fall.

Somehow lost 2 out there today. Green Vibram in the Pines by the houses on hole 2. Also a Yellow/Orange Star Wraith on 12, I think it rolled down the hill into the woods. Name and number on both.

I'm about 20 minutes south of Frankenmuth and the snow has been gone for at least a week now, can't say with 100% certainty but I doubt there is any left on the course.

Snow report and the course please if you seen how much snow I have at my place still you would be asking also. But since this course is mainly in the open I would suspect that it’s decent

Was there last Saturday and two tee pads were partially covered. Other than that no problem. One other thing. Hole 13 is muddy where they pu in dirt from a project last year.

Ben, the Lager mill still sells discs. They only sell Discraft and MVP. But if you play out in Marlette, there is a proshop on the course called Disc to Basket. If you go, tell John I sent you.

Does anyone know what's going on with this course? Hole 13 has a bunch of mounds of dirt down by the basket, and the big bush in front of the tee pad has been removed

As a local resident and frequent user of this course, I appreciate you coming on to this form to educate those who use the course. I am sure he had no ill intent, but yet I wonder how many times he scratched his head when he viewed the ambition of this vandal that painted a line 3 miles long LOL. Thank you very much for this beautiful course you provide in the maintenance to keep it that way.

Sorry you had this happen Bridget, i would like to let you know that this does NOT represent the majority of disc golfers. The majority of us appreciate the ability to use and to share the parks with other sports and recreational activities.
Echoing what Niel says, disc golfers in the know will have appreciation of a local municipality that installs a free to play disc golf course and respect the fact it is a multi-use park. This sounds like a case of one bad apple. So hopefully the rumor that the park is pulling the course is not valid.

This course has been a staple and is revered as one, if not the top course in the area. We all hope the rumors to the course being pulled are not true.
