I watched Unit's daughter get hit with a disc yesterday while walking from 11's basket to 12. The dude never yelled, and his toddler daughter got hit in the leg on the fly, leaving a nasty lump and bruise. The disc almost caught one of our party in the back of the head. Again, ... more

Work Party Friday July 1st 8 a.m. I will be meeting up with volunteers from Americorp at Leverich Park this Friday to add several new anchors to the course, add a new alternate teepad and move one teepad at the request of the parks department. Anyone that can come out and help should bring gloves and any shovelly, digging, raking tools, etc. Also a wheel barrow would be helpful. Questions? Contact me here. Those of you wanting more details as to which holes will be getting alternate anchors and tee pads should come out to help!

I found two discs yesterday. A black putter on 1, right next to the basket, and a yellow leopard on 6, close to the basket. Neither have names, so if these are your's...tough! Nah, just kiddin', hit me up if you think these are your missing discs!

Wow what passion, kinda bummed I missed all the action last couple weeks! I'm probably not gonna be able to run league on sunday again, anyone down to do it? I will be back next week for sure and there still is an outside chance I will be there this sunday. BTW I ALWAYS clean up after paul so don't blame me for poo on your disc but I can't say the same for the doughnut that he just stole out of your hand, dammit paul, you really are a jerk!
YOU are responsible for your disc. If you hit something or someone with YOUR disc you are liable for the damage. The only possible exception to this would be if someone moved INTO the way of your disc, however, I still think a lawyer/jury would love to argue you are still responsible for your disc. Yelling fore is an "Oh sh*t" moment when you realize you might be about to hurt someone. Don't hesitate! I would much rather be falsely alerted than not alerted at all. Those that think that other ... more

Those that think that others should be responsible for getting out of the way of a flying disc are WRONG! Pedestrians, be they disc golfers or not, have the right of way on the road and on the disc golf course. Set the example people, as kindly as possible explain this to people that don't get it yet. WE ALL need to do our part to teach others the etiquette of our sport.
