WhiteCourse description:Short technical shots with some open holes. Terrain and design provide challenge. Hole 1 is between the pro shop and playground. Hole 18 ends up by the pro shop. This is the latest course installed at Lemon Lake (in 2009). A great beginner course and one to work on the mid-range game. Local Directions: From Chicago; I-80/94 to Indianapolis Blvd. (Exit 3 South), 16 miles to Cedar Lake. Turn east at 1st light (133rd St.). Go around lake & turn left at intersection occupied by Holiday Liquors & True Value. Course is 0.5 mile on left at 6322 W. 133rd Ave. From Indianapolis: North on 1-65 to State Route 2 west to Indiana Route 55 north to 133rd Ave west to park. There is a brown sign on 55 @ 133rd directing you to Lemon Lake. From Michigan: I-80/94 to I-65 south to State Rt 231 (Crown Point Exit) west to Indiana Route 55 south to 133rd Ave west to park. There is a brown sign on 55 @ 133rd directing you to Lemon Lake.NOTE: This course was redesigned in 2020. This course currently plays as 20 holes with the addition of 4 baskets coming in 7/2022. This course has a wide variety of shots in the woods and open shots with rolling hills and prairie lands. Some of the original holes still exist and holes used for the 2013 Pro World Championships and 2018 US Masters Championship are now in play. We have had substantial tree damage on this course over the past several weeks and with the loss of trees due to the ash beetle the past 2 seasons the parks department will begin cutting and removing many of these dead trees.
