White | Course description: | Short technical shots with some open holes. Terrain and design provide challenge. Hole 1 is between the pro shop and playground. Hole 18 ends up by the pro shop. This is the latest course installed at Lemon Lake (in 2009). A great beginner course and one to work on the mid-range game. Local Directions: From Chicago; I-80/94 to Indianapolis Blvd. (Exit 3 South), 16 miles to Cedar Lake. Turn east at 1st light (133rd St.). Go around lake & turn left at intersection occupied by Holiday Liquors & True Value. Course is 0.5 mile on left at 6322 W. 133rd Ave. From Indianapolis: North on 1-65 to State Route 2 west to Indiana Route 55 north to 133rd Ave west to park. There is a brown sign on 55 @ 133rd directing you to Lemon Lake. From Michigan: I-80/94 to I-65 south to State Rt 231 (Crown Point Exit) west to Indiana Route 55 south to 133rd Ave west to park. Red | Course description: | UPDATE 3-9-17: PLEASE BE ADVISED that beginning the week of 3/13/2017, we will begin tree maintenance on the RED Course. We have had substantial tree damage on this course over the past several weeks and with the loss of trees due to the ash beetle the past 2 seasons the parks department will begin cutting and removing many of these dead trees. Holes likely to be closed will be holes 10, 11, 12, 16, 9, & 3 on various days. The course will remain open with the exception of these work areas. Signs will be posted when holes are closed and the areas will be caution taped off. In addition, beginning APRIL 12, 2017 and after the Club Challenge the entire RED course will be closed for additional maintenance. The tentative reopen date will be Friday May 26th in time for the June 4th Indiana State Doubles Championships. All baskets will be removed and no areas of this course will be playable. White, Blue, Silver and Gold Courses will remain open for casual play. Lemon Lake County Park | Fee description: | Daily park fee is just $5 per player per day includes disc golf and parking. This fee entitles the player to play all 5 of Lemon Lake's course and access and use the park amenities. This is strictly a park fee and does not support The Flight Center. Tournament fees are posted accordingly and a player fee may be charged by the park at their discretion. Gate funds are used to maintain the park and courses. Gate fees are generally collected by the park May-October. Season disc golf passes are also available for purchase at the gate. If a gatekeeper is not on duty, visitors are welcome to use the park and courses without charge for that day. The Flight Center does not collect any park or disc golf fees.
