Anyone lose any discs (out in the open, not the water) this week? We've had 3 turned in found out in the grass..1 was really nice, found Tuesday night, it probably belongs to someone who played the league. No names on any.

Anybody have a portable welder? A weld holding the D-hook for a chain link broke off W's basket sometime this week, somehow.

Lost a black Pro D Challenger in the pond. Unmarked.

Lost a orange JK Aviar in the middle of the pond, willing to give a reward if it's returned.

But have you ever seen one go into a pond about nine feet deep to get discs.

"responds faster than police"*- that's a great way of putting it!

I can't say anything on dgs without starting a ruckus, ignore it..
it made for an interesting day, that is all. I have seen someone threatened with a gun at Hudson Mills, and been snarled at by "free range pit bulls" at Indy Lake.

"How much more grievous are the consequences of anger than the causes of it." -Marcus Aurelius
Not trying to be good onto people solves nothing, If we are inherently nicer to those whom try to effect us with their unneeded anger it will confuse them and eventually they will give up.

Gabe that's all good and stuff but there is one flaw not everyone is going to get along with everyone. it's reality maybe if we were living in a perfect world the "pay it foward" movement might happen. But we don't so it is what it us i guess.
sheldon bowen August 16, 2012 at 9:29am
So what you're saying Gabe is can't we all just get along lol

This is more the issue of the "Jackass" generation finding humor in peoples pain. I do not think the local Police would react so fast being that it takes a fair amount of skill to peg someone with a golf ball as a distance. Car jacking is a tad more serious than being T Woods target. I think if we as a people and as a community of Disc Golfers tried to educate people on peace and togetherness we may be able to change to world 1 person at a time. Next time I see a seedy person at the course I for one will walk up to them, Extend my arms and offer them a hug. People like hugs.. And maybe the joy of the moment might change that person outlook on things and the "Pay it forward" movement might take off...

Great idea Mike! But no, one isolated incident on the LS property does not make it more "seedy" than CB. The concerns expressed are more a city problem than a LS problem. People are bound to run into douche bags anywhere they go...at CB, this happens on the regular.

Cool...We should all heed the warnings then and never play lake**** again. If I get into trouble the cops will never show and the grounds keeper wont help. Does that mean lake**** supersedes Cass Benton as the seediest course in south east Michigan.
