Very good diverse course. You do have to avoid playgrounds, picnics, and there is much brush to lose discs.

Park setting with some woods and park obstacles in play. Challenging and certainly enjoyable.

Super playable and fun. Nice concrete pads for both teepads and good use of parkland

Course is similar to Sherando with both open and wooded but I find Jim Barnett just a bit more challenging and also in need of more maintenance. I've only had conflicts with park users on one or two occasions where some of the pavilions are located close to the fairways and I just had to wait out the traffic.

This is a very good course. Long and short tees. Good cement tees. Good signs. Nice innova baskets. Has 4 legit par 4s and hole 18 is a legit par 5. Course par on the scene is set to high in my opinion. Should be par 60. My only complaint is the course needs some maintence. Especially on hole 18. Overall this is a good course and I recommend playing here if you are in the area.

One of the best courses I've ever played. It has everything, even a mock "water" hole.

Right off of I-81. Good signage, two tee pads. Great use of elevation and good mix of short and long holes, in and out of woods. You gotta hit the line to score really well here, which can be done, need to hit line at different heights to give the best chance to score. This course can really separate a tourney field.

Great signage, great tee pads. Good shot selection and variety. Hole 18 needs some work. Very easy to navigate for first timers. Had a lot of fun.

Muddy course at times, especially on holes #2, #6, and #10. #6 is technically an "island" green which is interesting against even intermediate players. Two types of tees - White (short) and Blue (long) does well to suit all kinds of players. I consider this one my home course while I attended Shenandoah University from '07-'11
