White tee signs are being installed today and should be all in by Wednesday.
Red tee on hole 16 has been moved up for a different line at the basket.
Thanks Brandon for the feedback, we moved #18 back to provide more of a challenge. Why would you like to see it moved back?

Saw Scott's Round Comments for the Red Tee's last night. My buddy didn't even know Independence was around the corner, so I'm dragging him there this weekend after we knock out Bandemer. I have played the Red's, but haven't even really thought of reviewing them. So I can help provide some feedback after this weekend if the Park is looking for some. Might be a crappy weekend weather wise, but I still plan on making it out.

@ Brandon.....That's because when you tell people to look out for flying discs, they think you are talking about UFO's :P

Every time I try to warn people on the picnic course about the flying discs and to "keep an eye out from up there where the tee is that people are throwing from", the people always look at me with their mouth open like I'm crazy or like I just spoke in a foreign language or they just start walking away while I'm in mid sentence lol

Southside 9-16 are in until spring 2011. Northside is pulled and will go in mid November.

yesterday aftn orange baskets sighted on Holes 9-16, not sure about other side.
Was going to play Chuck D Red Tee's this past Sunday, but the wife needed some help around the house & shiz so I was unable to make it out as planned. I will try and make it out this week and review it for you guys. Played the Whites on Saturday though with the family in tow. I am finally getting used to the new tee placements except for hole 16. I am sorry, but I absolutely loath hole 16 now. It used to be much more fun playing from the previous spot. Taking the drive shot that far back is ... more

I am sorry, but I absolutely loath hole 16 now. It used to be much more fun playing from the previous spot. Taking the drive shot that far back is, IMHO, ridiculous. You either have to crush to straight down and pray you miss the bushes/clump of trees directly in front of you, thread it on the left side towards the left hand break, or play it far right & go for a straight shot to the pin. All of the other holes are such a challenge, but hole 16 has no challenge anymore since you have mainly three choices to shot for. If you can crush it, your fine, but the average player will just grumble & moan on this hole because you will either land in the rough to the left or get tied up in the trees in front of you. I know it was moved because players were shooting too far into the fairway on 13. Should be playing from the blacks if that is the case.
