In the past they have pulled them first thing. Park opens at 8am, I suggest you get there when the gates open maybe they'll let you say goodbye proppa!

Ne Anyone have any idea how early in the morning the are pulling the picnic course?? I have the day off and would like to try and get a rnd in in the am.

Yes the park is working on getting the orange ones out on the Chuck D. Not sure if it will happen though. Some welding on the locking collar will be required to make it work though. Mach III and Chainstar don't have exactly the same sleeves. Not sure exactly what needs to be done but the park staff is more than competent in these areas.
Now.. dry dry dry dry dry.. Any word on the wetness on the north side picnic? I know the fairways on hole 1 and hole 17 can get a little mushy at times..

@ Shaun....I thought Scott had mentioned there was a plan in the works to move those champ baskets over to the Chuck D. I know the guys at the 101 are doing their best to make that happen.
I too will miss this course. I feel like a noob not knowing this course even existed in my back yard for so long, it's a shame I got to play this course a handful of times. I am going to try for a Sunday run, but it might be early, not sure yet

it is a shame this will be the last time i get to play the picnic. thank you for your generosity peter, i only hope the baskets find a worthy home on a course that is as good or better than the picnic.

left behind a yellow 2011 No Foolin' Z Hornet on hole 3 yesterday, it was late in the day and not many ppl were there, so i went back this morning hoping to retrieve it, and it wasn't in the bush i shanked it in. somebody picked it up. it has my name & number & ace hole 4 lakeshore on the bottom. if anybody sees this disc in some casual's possession, i will pay $50 bucks IF you punch them right in the face for me, and return the disc. thanks.

I'll be there sunday may 1 (post tourney) to play my final round on the picnic.....
