Me and some friends are heading from michigan to idlewild next weekend to play can anyone tell me if there is snow on the course?

Bruce Brakel   February 28, 2013 at 12:30pm

Just from looking at Intellicast it looks like the course will be clear of snow. On Monday and Tuesday when it snowed in KC it was continuously above freezing at Idlewild. If next weekend is March 9, it is supposed to be warm all week. I want to go!

Creig, I wish I could I have overtime at work this weekend. Post the same post on http://www.cincinnatidiscgolf.com on the formum page you might get a better chance at a hit there. Disc Golf Scene isn't as popular here as in Michiagan. Good luck at Idlewild.

Coming down from Michigan the week of June 4. Wondering if there is a local lost-N-found disc store close by?

The course is pretty easy to follow, except for the 6 new holes (the signs aren't in yet). They start from the long basket on #2. I would love to help out a fellow MI but I can't fit a round in today.

Lost my white/glow XS on the right side of 15 about 330 ft from the tee. My first ace disc, so if found reward will be handsome.

We played the Kentucky State Championships today at Idlewild. It rained off and on in the morning but was in the 60s and not too windy. On the lunch hour the course was hit by severe weather, including torrential rain and a tornado warning. It rained so hard several fairways became unplayably flooded. The TD had to cancel the second round. After the awards Kelsey wanted to go back to film some of the flooding. I wanted to play around being one of those stupid TV announcers standing in ... more
