According to some old pdga discussions, it looks like the Brakel gang was playing object here since 1995.

I used to drive by Hawthorne all the time.
Always thought it would be a nice spot to disc.
Any hope for courses at Pontiac State Rec Area or Waterford Oaks?

sweet a course in pontiac! what can you tell me about it, concrete or grass tees? lengths or is it a temp course??
Cool course with nice elevation. Hope to see a permanant course soon.
