Hanson Hills Recreation Area

If you are coming from the South it might be easier to get offf I-75 at 4 Mile Road and head west until it dead-ends into Military Road about 3 miles. Make a right onto Military Road heading North until you make a right onto 93 about another 3 miles. Turn off 93 (right) onto Old Lake Road then turn right into the Grayling Recreation Area (Hanson Hills).
If you are coming from the North, take 72/93 southwest out of town and turn left onto Old Lake Road and slowly follow the winding road to the park. I believe Ol' Dam Party Store is on 72/93 on your right before you turn onto Old Lake Road.

Yes it is off I-75 and not far either. I believe there are signs to guide you to Hanson Hills Recreation Area.

I lost 2 discs on Sunday morning. A Buzzz (red, white, blue Rotary tourney) Hole 1, in the woods between the basket and the 2nd tee pad. Als, hole 12, KC-Pro Roc, white IN the pine tree leftside of fairway 50ft from the basket. It was a great morning other than that.

Thanks Kevin, I have to say that Herz-bob had a ton to do with the final design. It may have been impossible to complete the design in one day by myself. I had one idea then Ryan suggested another and low-and-behold some of them worked perfectly. Mitch and ChimChim helped with the last few holes while we were playing it and the current course is just as you say. I loved your comment on the "out-of-breath" walk. The first time I threw up the ski mountain it took 4 of my best shots to reach the to ... more

Justin, did you take any images of holes 15 - 19? High resolution images can be sent to me so I can keep all the images the same sizes. Also, take a look at the images I have posted so far and make sure they are correct. Ryan Bauer took the images and I think some got messed up on holes 6 - 8.
