Beautiful setting. Pros: Good exercise, fresh air, contours, creek, trees, valleys, challenging; Cons: Parking lot tricky to find (drove to the lake, which was a bit too far), signs for holes were hard to figure out (#7 and #9 couldn't figure out). Overall: Pretty setting, weather nice (hot that day, though, in July). Fun course.

Home of the New Mexico 2013 state championships. That pretty much says it all.

Fun fun course. Front nine among the tall trees. Back nine has hills and ravines. Some great elevation changes. Simply a blast. We were staying in a nearby hotel and a group of us played it three days in a row.

The layout and scenery are unmatched in the region. There are shots over valleys, uphill, down hill, over creeks and sweeping line shots going both left and right. This is my favorite course out of over 60 that I have played. It has tough shots but it is not overwhelming to play here if you have just started playing. The mountain air makes all of my discs fly a step or two higher in stability compared with the north Texas region. The only shot that is missing from this course is a tunnel shot or narrow lane shot.

Incredible mountain golf, Luscious fairways on the front 9 and beautiful natural mountain terrain on the rest of the course. This is a must play courses here in New Mexico
