Such a great course. It has a great verity of both long and short, wide open and technical shots. Teepads are nice and long and there a couple of pin placements to occasionally change things up. Beautiful park with excellent disc golf.

Freeman is a well balanced 'park' style course, providing a reasonable amount of distance and technicality. Where it lacks in significant elevation change, Freeman Park makes up for it with versatility in throwing lanes and irregular wind patterns. This lends to creating a unique disc golf experience each and every time you play.

Multiple pin placements, perfect amount of trees, variety of shots, course can be roped off for added difficulty in tournaments, natural OB. Amazing course.

Love this course. It has a great variety of different shots and has a challenge for all skill levels. One of the best courses in all of Idaho.
The only reason this isn’t an A+ is because it needs updated tee signs.

I love Freeman! This grassy park course is suitable for all ages and skill levels. Wide open shots, technical shots, beautiful scenery. I love that there's water on the course, the creek and the river are both so beautiful. I drive from Pocatello to play Freeman once a week in the warm seasons.

This is an awesome course. I’ve been playing since 2000 and this is one of the few courses I still make a special trip to when there is a tournament. Highly recommend for its nice mix of distance, well marked tees and baskets, and grass park. Can’t go wrong with adding this to your must play courses.

From a woman’s perspective, this is a great course. There are a variety of distances to shoot from. It is a challenging course but not too challenging that makes you want to give up. You will want to come back to this course. The city does a great job with maintenance. It is at a park, so once in a while you may run into different events, people, or cars that can be in the way. There are multiple pin locations to add variety.

I love Freeman park. It has a good variety of long and short holes. It has a good mix between backhand and forehand shots. There are tunnel shots. The baskets have multiple pin placements making the course have a much greater replayability keeping things fresh. There are opportunities to lose discs in the creek on a few holes. Freeman is a little more spread out than some courses so you do get in quite a bit of walking. Absolutely a great course.

I've been playing for a few years now, have played on several courses in the region, and Freeman Park is my favorite course. It's challenging enough that it's a different game every time I play.

This is a great park course. There are a good variety of shots and the local club switches up layouts through out the year to keep things fresh. I have heard about problems with non player traffic at the park, but I haven't had too much trouble when I was there. The holes are both fun and challenging. You get some elevation, you have some water danger, you get to work with slopes and there are many beautiful trees. Overall a very interesting and rewarding course.

By far the best course in SE Idaho. If Freeman were not around, it is highly likely that I would not have gotten into the sport.

For a park course, you will be pleasantly surprised with how little the other park-goers will interrupt your round. This is a busy park, but the course has been designed in a way that respects others and lets you just have fun. I am excited to see what the future will bring to this gem!

I've played Freeman park since its early days in 2002, when it only had 9 holes w/ single-chain baskets. Over the past 18 years, it's grown into a great city park course, utilizing the available terrain and obstacles to provide nice selection of shots and lines for all skill levels.

I've played courses all up and down the western side of the U.S. and Freeman is truly a one-of-a-kind city park course. The park itself is very well-maintained and the scenery in and around the course is world-class.

Freeman Park is a wonderful course beautifully laid out thru a well kept park. It truly feels like the course plays similar to an actual golf course. It is the nicest maintained course I have ever played that was free of charge. The holes are very definitive wether they are carved out of trees, park roads or water. The course is well marked, well maintained and offers several different challenges in the way of shot selection. Some holes require shots over water. Some holes have their basket deat ...

Great course! This course requires you to make a variety of shots around a well maintained park. Both long and short hole with multiple pin locations. Watch your shots around the creek or your disc may end up in the Snake River.

I've played dozens of courses in multiple states. Freeman is by far the best "park/grass" course I've ever played. And although I love mountain courses, and courses on varied terrain, Freeman is my top choice of any course I've ever played. It is long and technical enough to challenge open players yet enjoyable for beginner or novice players. It is similar to Lake Walcott which I would also rate an A+ except that you have to pay to play there, and Freeman is free!

This is a top level course that has a variety of long and short shots. The multiple pin locations per hole gives several options to change the course. This is a well manicured park that has lots of beauty. Several top tier tournaments take place here annually.

Freeman park is one of the most beautiful and yet, challenging disc golf courses in Idaho. It's very fun to play in a casual or tournament setting...I've learned how to develop my disc golf skills at this course and highly recommend it to all disc golf players, pro and amateurs are welcome here.

Freeman is a great course to take the family or to have a tournament. With a variety of shots even the most seasoned of players will find this course to be fun and challenging.

This is truly an amazing course! I have played a handful of courses and this is by far the number one course on my list in Idaho. This has all the best that disc golf has to offer. Water hazards, long holes, short holes, technical holes, everything! The front is perfect for a quick lunch round, and the back just adds more to the fun. Occasionally you might have a walker/ hiker on the paved path that goes around the property, but patients will be a friend when that happens. I now live out of state and I miss it so much!

This course has it all. Offers challenges year round, all shots needed. Every hole well planned. The park is beautiful and well kept, right along the Snake River (although you'll never be in danger of throwing right into the river, but beware the creek when it's running high). A true jewel in the Gem State and a privilege to play as often as I do. .

Great course that gives you an opportunity to test every shot you have (or think you have). Really fun course. Only thing that doesn’t make it an A+ is some of the signs need updated.

Like others have mentioned in their review, it is a well-balanced course with both short and long distance to the baskets. There is a creek to throw over for a couple of holes and there are some downhill throws and one up hill. It has a lot of variety. They put trees into play here and there. Some holes are geared for back hands and others are for sidearms. So there is variety for basically everything. The course is well kept up. A very fun course to play.

Shorties with longs. Get accurate with trees around baskets and in fairways. Not to mention the water. Great course couldn't ask for more. Especially the extended tee pads.

Very fun course. Didn't have a map and got lost a couple of times. Course was still in winter condition. Made my first ever ace on 16. Almost aced 4, but disc bounced off upper ring!

Freeman park is a gem. I have played over 50 courses in 15 states and 3 countries, Freeman is one of the best park courses I have ever played. It offers long open holes, short technical holes, OB with roads and a beautiful creek that runs through the front nine. And there is nothing better than the tournament layouts when the ropes come out and the pressure is on. It’s a must play if you ever come to Idaho Falls.

Idaho's #2! What can I not say... I liked it, it's not Lake Walcott... But it's nice, It has all the right things in Place to make it a Quality Park! Hole's #9, 10, 14, and 15 are Par 4's for a Par 58.
