Fox River County Park

This is the best course I have played. It is very challenging for any player. I have seen some very new players on it and they were having problems because of the hills and long walks. I sent them to the easy 9 basket course in the same park, good for a warm up. This is the best course I have played. It is very challenging for any player. I have seen some very new players on it and they were having problems because of the hills and long walks. I sent them to the easy 9 basket course in the same park, good for a warm up. There is little to say about cons to this faclity, but it starts on the first hole, there are two basket placements for each tee off, and #1 is too short or too many branches that make it a hole too hard for most players, there just are no openings through the branches can't figure the design idea. But after that the the course is just one great basket afteer another. Up high hills blind shots, shots through small openings in the trees, such as basket 4 in the short position, fun basket. Also the fromt nine ends where the back begins and the back ends where the front starts, making it easy to avoid backups at the start, plus bumping into freinds easily to share a round. The front nine is more open, and the back nine can be brutal so stay out of the woods. There is a lot of being content with a 4 on three or four baskets on the back nine where the front offeres only one. Many cources offer cuce chances, there are a smaller amount here but it depends on the basket placement. The park is great but little aside from a beautiful park, not family friendly except from a nature angle. You want to play this course, be amazed.
