We are having an open meeting for the 2015 Amateur World Championship this Sunday at 6pm at the Holiday Inn West. It won't be a long meeting. We mainly want to see who is interested in helping out and to get started on a couple of projects. If you are interested in being part of this event please try and attend. Apparently hole seven is a road now because the entrance to the park is under construction. Didnt go down and check the situation because I didn't want to get run over. Not sure when things will be normal again. My only concern is there is a doubles tournament there in October.

The fairways are fair. 4 holes through the woods, 4 holes through tight foliage, 10 relatively open holes. 8 holes at 400 or longer, 2 of those around 600.

Mowed fairways, long, heavy rough. Some holes play around a beach area so water is in play on a few holes. Fairly flat, some long holes. Some holes are pretty nasty if you get off the fairway.

They are supposed to open by 7AM. Stop by the office on your way through if you get there earlier.

I appreciate the info guys. What time does the course open? We play pretty early...usually 7am...sometimes earlier. Last time we got there the gate was closed.

Jason--I replaced the basket a few days ago. New tee matt will be placed this Saturday. The Beach Course opens October 1st and runs through May 30, 2012. Thanks for the report!

Played out there last week (8-22-11) and #7 basket and pad were indeed gone. Everything else was there. Chad, when will the layout change back to Beach only, October?

Josh. As far as I know (I help with the course maintenance) all 18 baskets are in place. I'll check it this weekend to make sure.

Anybody play here recently? Last time we went the basket at #7 (the long hole down the dirt road) was gone. Somebody in our disc golf league indicated a bunch of baskets are missing but I don't see anything else indicating that. Can anybody confirm one way or the other?

Something MUST be done with (cross the road) 7.... a kick in the nads is one thing....but running them through a deli slicer is just not right.

As of October 1, 2010 the 18 hole Beah Course is open. This is the layout we will play October thru May. The 24 hole layout is now closed thru May 30 due to conflicts with hunting in the area. This seasonal layout is now permanent. It took a long time and many re-routes to find our place with the other user groups in the area. Hopefuly we will not have to move anything ever again!!
12 of the 18 Beach holes have been in place but the other 6 are new. Fly pads are down but not level yet. Orange and yellow arrow signs pont you toward the next tee.
It's kinda cool I didn't hate it
