East China Township Park is a large community park offering multiple recreational opportunities for all ages. The disc golf course is located near the southern end of the park away from the playing fields and trails. PROS: FREE TO PLAY Course Difficulty Matches the Areas Needs ~ Disc Golf is new to the area so the course needed to stay simple enough not to scare away first-timers, while still offering a challenge to the regulars. The course is mostly beginner-friendly as long as you ca ...

This course was ok, I would have liked it better but two baskets were missing and almost no variety with the different holes. The course starts at the far corner of the park with no directions to get there. It could shape up to be pretty nice in a couple of years.

For what the designer had to work with its an A. But holes not marked well enough. And with extra help could not find hole 8. Good spot for begginers. Bring the tick spray you will need it

If you can keep your drives out of the brush, you'll love this course. It starts off with some of the most challenging holes, so make sure to warm up beforehand. Play the course again backwards for an 18 hold game and a bump in difficulty.

Pros.
Fairly challenging course, narrow fairways with many obstacles.
Well maintained.
Every hole is marked and has a diagram.
Nearby soccer field can be used as a driving range.

Cons
Only 9 holes.
Pads are not cement. White pads are carpet, red pads are basically nonexistent.
Thick foliage can make disc location and retrieval difficult.
Bugs, lots and lots of bugs.

Overall a good course.

Small beginner course to practice up on your midrange and putting approaches. For me it was anyway. Nice design for area.

Holes 1 through 13 are pretty legit. A variety of in the woods tunnel style looks, to open field hyzer bombs. The course has a minor stream to throw over on two holes, 7 and 10 iirc. Actual garbage cans on the first 6 holes. Easy to follow maintained paths to follow. 8 through 13 is giant loop, look for the orange ribbons tied to tree branches and follow them enduro style to the next hole. Holes 14 through 18 are a bit of a bitch to figure out, no map or directions of any kind. 14 starts in ...

Nice mix of shots, fun little course. Missing a bridge on one of the wooded holes. Fairly easy to navigate. Hole14 has 8 and 9 signs in the fairway, but it's still easy figure out.

This course is a lot of fun! Very well kept up and I love the variation in holes. They did an excellent job with the space they had to work with.

Huge upgrades last year after adding the second 9. Great work by all those involved and can't wait to see the continued improvements!

There are a lot of things going well for this course. The baskets are great, the holes are interesting and the course is very tough. The negatives are mainly the tee pads. I hope there is a plan to put in concrete pads, at least for the long pads. Once that happens this course will be in my favorite category for life.

Nice variety in and out of the woods. Improvements and new holes from a couple years ago, and some great, hard working volunteers keeping the course trimmed. Bring your bug spray though, as the wooded holes are filled with mosquitoes like I've never seen anywhere else.

No tee pads as of 08/22/2019. There was lots of trees down on the course especially in the wooded areas on the front 9. As an out of towner- it was difficult to find hole 1 and hole 11 once I got moving down the course. I would recommend a local or do as I did and walk the entire course before attempting to play. I found that only 4 holes required anything faster than a mid range to be thrown and most of the pins are straight on or barely faded shots for either RHBH or RHFH. A little course main ...

Enjoyable short, wooded and open course with a river that lurks nearby and a creek that comes into play starting on hole nine. Decent signage but the layout is a bit confusing. Cement pads would put this course in the running for an A- rating.

Beautiful 18 hole course. Several technical holes, a few in the open. Sits in a township park but does not interfere much with game play. Winter layout also available. Signage is good, and course flows nicely. Well-maintained. Love this place.

This course has a little of everything. The wooded holes are extremely fun and frustrating at times. The mixed field shots give you some reprieve. The rubber tee pads are absolutely horrible though. Any mud or water and a backhand player is gonna slip.
