From Michigan. This course is awesome. The elevation changes definitely wears out the body. Could use some better signs to get to hole 7 and a sign to the pin on hole 9. I would highly recommend this course to out of towners

This course is an excelent test of all parts of the game, played in the winter, looking forward to hitting it again with dry pads and leaves on the trees, Bravo

Nice sunny day. Mostly short pins. Was the Deer Lakes Monthly tournament. Tied for 1st and went to sudden death. Both parred hole one. I nailed a 45 ft up hill put on 2 for the deuce and Gary missed his 25 footer.

Great job with the amount of clearing that has been done over the past year. Could possibly use some wood chips to help with the amount of moisture we've had this spring.

+ huge tees, direction arrows, informative signs, ample parking, facilities, water on and around the course, trash cans, bridges, steps, 3 pin positions, woodsy but not over grown. you will use every shot in the bag. course has tight lines without needing any "pull and pray" shots. moderate elevation. - no map online and very low detailed map at course. for being named "deer lakes" i was hoping for more then one water shot. Mach II baskets enjoy spitting out. can't really complain though. gre ...

Stayed at SpringHill Suites in Pittsburgh Mills this summer for internships. It was nice having Deer Lakes within 5 minutes. Unfortunately I only got to play the course a few times. Really enjoyed myself.

Great course! Lots of elevation change, but nothing too brutal. Par 66 with 3 par 5s. Excellent design. Mostly wooded. Last 2 holes Open.
