This course is the hidden gem in the DFW area. Every time I play this course (unfortunately only a few times a year) it always just looks so scenic and well taken care of. It might just be the best looking course in the DFW area. Don't let the open holes fool you, you will need distance to score on this course, but you will also need accuracy. There is also some shorter technical holes thrown in, but if the layout is in the longs, bring your elite long game. In my personal top 3 courses I've eve ...

This is a good course. mostly flat and lightly wooded. Could use better signage. Good use of the available property.

Pros: -Concrete tee pads. -Multiple pin locations. -22 individual holes that can be played. -Well kept park -Plenty of trash receptacles. Cons: -Difficult to navigate without a map. -Difficult to know which pin is in use. -There is very little real risk on the course. -RHBH dominant course, but there was at least some technical challenge and relief for lefties. Granbury has a driving range that ranges from 200 to 400 feet and the course is well kept. I would like more water in the water hazards. This course is not covered in trees like Weatherfords course, but does still have okay tree coverage.

This course is well kept up with a variety of terrain and tree cover and some very challenging holes. When there isn't a drought the water hazards are more challenging to work around. When we went they were mud pits, which was a different kind of challenge if you ended up in one.
