Craig Clingan 80 - 2016 AM Worlds 27 Holes, 27 holes ""Bird's Ruins". You talk about rough! You DO NOT want to veer far from the fairway on this course. Not only is the rough 5 feet tall but it's thick and full of weeds that will leave an impression on you. As long as you have a spotter (a few were nicely provided), it's a gorgeous course. Lots of ball-golf type fairways cut out of the prairie and sumac and some tight, challenging holes in the woods. Started on the chase card (second card) on hole 2 along with George Bodiroga, Billy Ray Osborn and Marcus Erickson. George and I have played a couple rounds together at prior worlds, so it was nice to do it again. Billy Ray's wife and son were both there and were very willing to spot for us when needed, so thank you! Fun round but left a few out there. Shot well enough to move up to 5th place."Tuesday, July 12, 2016
