It probably does. I played a round with Mitch and he said he'd lost an orange flick recently.

Terry Kenney   May 13 at 1:33pm

PS: he does dye jobs, and said there was something on the flick, I forget what...

Cody Hartman   May 13 at 2:00pm

Yeah I am sure it is that 1 then. It says Frequent Flyer on it. I'll bring it to the tourney this weekend. Just left it in my bag when I walked off the course since I found it on Hole 2

Cody Hartman    April 30 at 5:01pm

I know Kevin had talked about camping in the future at BW. Anyone know if that has changed or if he has talked about this. It is getting to be that time of year :)

Chris"THE BIG DOG" Francis   May 12 at 6:30pm

No camping... Stub is closest for that

The Ronin    April 26 at 11:40am

Whoever is smoking and dropping your butts all over on this course, please stop. Also, I've seen a bunch of beer cans and bottles tossed out into the brush, and/or left out around the course that I didn't notice last time I was out there. Let's have some class, and common courtesy and pick up after ourselves, fellow hukkers. I mean, there are receptacles for that stuff just about every third hole, and I'm sure that bottle/can was a lot heavier when you packed it in...so it's not too much to ask you make it to the GARBAGE CAN with your GARBAGE. Thank you, I'm off my soap box now...

The other day, when I was up there, I couldn't help notice that the wind was blowing the coffee can ash tray off the table it was on, I picked up a lot of it .... I do remember the neighbors were most concerned about fire danger with all the traffic and those tiny kindling trees branches everywhere. It will be super essential that we keep it clean and safe of those butts once it gets dry out! I like the thoughts I here a lot but have to agree that most read ... more

Dang! Gonna need a time machine if I want to beat 16 down! Imagine if the two par holes would have still been short position! A star round?!? Oh yeah, Buxton woods open is coming soon!!

Casey Kimball   April 22 at 11:16am

The only news I have is that the new positions are awesome! And the will most likely all be in play for bwo.

Is there always a bag tag league on Sunday mornings?

Cody Hartman   April 8 at 1:28pm

Join it then, tags are cheap and the league is for fun. Sometimes the staff cooks up burgers and dogs to free for the Bag tag'ers. Having the league doesn't shut down the course, just adds traffic. Don't be afraid and enjoy the course anytime :)

Russ H   April 8 at 2:10pm

What time does it usually end?

Cody Hartman   April 8 at 2:21pm

I would say by noon...the players usually start out on the first few holes about 10 and you can easily rotate into the group to play since there are usually about 20 players. Big Dog can confirm this better.

On Saturday the 15th, someone vandalized one of the finished picnic tables with a stupid Disc Charger circle. It is unmistakeable because you can't spell disc.....not DISK. If you are the person guilty of this act, please make arrangements to repair the table as soon as you can. If you dont, STAY AWAY FROM BUXTON WOODS!! If you know who this person was, please forward this message. If there is continued vandalism of the private property at Buxton Woods, the tables will be removed. Come on Folks!!!

that is messed up. Kevin and the rest of the guys put work in up there. whoever did this. needs to be kicked in the balls

- Myk Nemeth -   March 17 at 8:23pm

i heard there was a reward for the guy whos doing this.....they took the pic-nic table out at paradise point for the same reason......i will add 10$ to the reward for the person caught

Nick Orr   March 17 at 10:41pm

im with Myk. Ill drop $10 as well. disc is young. course etiquette will catch on. I have faith. Some serious douche bags play disc, but from my experience they pick up on their opponents habits. They sometimes change. Anyway.....$10!

6" of snow and you guys shut down? There is 6ft of snow in spots here. These wussys are breaking out ribbons, come on guys!

Thomas "T" D.   February 13 at 10:15am

We still have our Die Hard Hukkers, Nate. We just dont get that kind of weather often. It ended up being 14 inches of snow accumulation where I live. Not anything like the Great Lakes areas though. Now if you want to talk about rain....its said that we Oregonians dont tan, we just get a bit rusty.lol

Nate Upton   February 14 at 12:39am

Ha, we have guys going over the fairways with snowmobiles to pack them down. Spring thaw is going to be chaos.

We have played the lay-out when nobody else was golfing and its a damn, fine lay-out for sure. We have also played with a few other golfers on the course and was able to make it work great. Safety is our primary concern when announcing this lay-out and hope that players throwing The Bull of The Wood ... more

Cody Hartman   January 31 at 4:29pm

maybe next Saturday I'll try to come out and play it :)

Thomas "T" D.   January 31 at 7:35pm

I would like to add that most fairways and walk-outs must be used as part of the lay-out. Big Dog and I have marked most fairway mandos with pink and orange ribbons. I will try to post an updated map of the course.

Thomas "T" D.    January 10 at 12:32pm

Buxton Woods "GL-UB's" are cancelled for tonight. A storm is coming in this evening and the Managment at the course fears falling limbs could be a danger to players. Sunday Bag Tags are still on so see you on Sunday!! Glow Dubs will resume next Friday. Thank you for supporting Buxton Woods!!

Those of you that like Buxton Woods should come try out Canyonview Camp! We will be finishing up teepads and signage by 2014, but for 18 Bentley Baskets, two/three lake shots, two 500+ holes, two-195 foot elevation drops, and 3 bathrooms, it will be getting pretty awesome here come the time teepads are complete. Call or text 503-508-3113 for tee time. Thanks!

Today at the Sunday Dubs and Singles, I lost an orange FLX/ESP Avenger SS on hole 12. When I got back to the house after the Singles round, I was told somebody had found it but didnt leave it at the 19th Hole. Its a double Ace disc and I would really like to get it back. Also, a Day-Glo Cryztal Z Nuke(like new, writing on inside of rim, was left on hole 16 that belongs to Big Dog. Tons of great Karma for thier return plus......

TD posted a review saying $3

Thomas "T" D.   October 10, 2013 at 8:21am

It is $3 a day to play and well worth it. The course is well thought out and a blast to play.
