You play here for the historical value! Course was designed and put in the ground in 1980. I can only imagine the day, when Big Wham-o discs were flying in the park as the norm! Really cool on one of the middle holes, a local golfer has his own teepad/marker. Long live RAG Overby! Everybody that knew him loved him! Legend is, that he aced the hole from where his tee pad was placed! Very Cool! Pros: Even though Bluemont is technically only a nine hole course, if you take full advantage of the ...

Very short course. Some of the fairways can be dangerous as they butt up next to each other throwing in opposite directions. Keep your head on a swivel for sure to avoid an errant shot. Clean course, nice park. Just know it's an older course and smaller based on needs when it was installed.

This is a very compact 9 hole course. There are multiple tee pads and baskets for each hole that give you the option of playing several different ways for each. In theory you could play 21+ holes. The main problem with this course is it's way too compact. Many holes cross over each other and fairways intertwine. As a result you are likely to be dodging errant discs, waiting for your turn, and putting at the same basket as another group for your entire round. I find it hard to enjoy disc golf ...

Pretty good course. Multiple cement tee pads for each hole, multiple baskets to play to without being confusing. Tee pads could use a paint job to more clearly distinguish between red, white, and blue pads but navigation is not difficult. The hole variety is good both with length and direction.

This is a nice course. Though very easy from the from the short tees, there are three tee pads for every hole and multiple holes on most. It is also a moderately technical course with a few doglegs, many trees in play, and even up and downhill tee shots. The number of tees and holes offer multiple variations in play which keep this course fresh. The course itself is well kept and, except for a few muddy spots after some heavy rains, is in excellent condition. I would definitely recommend this to all levels of players. The course was not very busy at all on a late Sunday afternoon.

Multiple tee locations and hole locations give a lot of variety with only 9 holes--really does play like 27, or at least 24. Best elevation changes in the area, and the long tees really play long. My favorite.

First few holes are not too exciting, once you get to about 4 or 5 it starts getting fun. All and all a good course thought don't get me wrong. Glad to have it around!
