Maybe the most scenic course in north america. Watch out for rattlesnakes.

This course is pretty amazing. It offers a variety of holes and different shots that you can take. The distances are fair and the conditions are hot and dry. The views land personality of the course are unique and a delight to play. l really like the cliff hole and the course, only had one problem, couldn't see some of the holes you have to throw to. Other than that it is fun.

No Mk. II or Mk. III baskets here. "Cow Bells" for baskets allowed me to ACE two holes here my first time out. Bring lots of Water! Awesome views and fun alternate approaches make this a favorite of mine when in Chico and the Ishi Wilderness, which this course abuts.

Good course. Hot, but nice. Some nice holes. Definitely worth doing when you do the other course. I did them both a couple years ago with my brothers.

Amazing views. Beautiful terrain. Fun to play. Technical. One of my favorite holes I have played is here. Don't remember which one it is exactly, but the Pin is out on a point surrounded by cliffs. You can risk losing discs and going for an ace/birdie op, or you can go easy, and throw to the left, ensuring you don't lose discs. I went for it on my first and had a great throw. The second, not so much, and watched one of my favorite discs fly off into the horizon as far as the eye can see. If you ...

This course is in every way imaginable; average. There are no overly challenging holes, just as there are no very easy holes. The heat and wind can get very extreme, and make the course unplayable at some times.

Pros - Course has some great views of the valley, and is fun to play for beginners as it is reasonably open. Concrete tee pads, and good signage.

Cons - Course is hot, windy, and dry 90% of the playable year (It is closed during the rainy season). The lava rock on the course TEARS up your discs so don't throw any soft plastic if you don't have to.

Made a trip out from Salt Lake and was lucky to get to play 9 Cali courses. This was the best course that I have played in CA or UT. Amazing views, great variety of different shots required. Across cliffs, up hills, down hills, through a labyrinth. Signs at each tee would have been nice, with distance and basket placement.

Cliff overlooking Bidwell park with views of Chico in the distance comes into play on a few holes. If you can throw a 300 hyzer accurately then this will be no problem. Wind provides a challenge as is gets gusty later in the day.
