Challenging yet fun course. Mostly wooded with some tight gaps, but with a few open holes. New turf tees are in the process of being installed and signage for each hole is clear.

Course now has signs on every hole and new turf teepads are being installed. The Bennett's Creek chain gang has put together fairway cleanup days so there are clean lines on every hole (a few are tight but fair). It's mainly a wooded course with a few open shots and one long completely open hole. Very well-rounded course that has improved greatly over the past few years.

Challenging course alongside a marshy creek. Water is play on several holes, while tight lines require accurate fairway shots on many others. Navigating if you're new could be a challenge. I'm glad I had a guide the first time I played it, and did fine on my own on my second visit. Flags to mark the baskets would be really helpful, since many of the baskets are tucked into the trees. Watch out for poison ivy in the summer.

it's an excellent complex course with tight lines, water hazards, and marshy areas. you can tell it is attempted to be maintained. with a lot of drive platforms freshly redone.

No concrete pads or signs. The course has a lot of potential and I can’t wait to see a finished product. When finished I feel this course could easily rival New Quarter and Newport News.

Pros: 1) Challenging course. Most of the holes are in the woods and there are plenty of trees to punish you if you don't make a good shot. 2) Mostly shaded - Allows you to play throughout the summer without burning up or getting too hot. 3) Elevation Change - This is a good amount of elevation change considering how flat the area around it is. There is a good number of holes where the elevation makes the game a little more challenging. 4) Water holes - There are two holes where you can tee ...

I'm sure I'm just spoiled but this is not your average course. I'm being generous in my grade simply because it has tremendous potential. Whoever designed this course did pretty well. If some money is spent and some TLC is given, this could be an amazing course. Oh, and it's HARD! I hope a decent disc club assembles here and puts in the work. I'll visit here again in my travels but for now it will not be my destination.

The course is great once you learn the lines and the routing of the holes. Marking, tee boxes and signs are subpar but it is a great challenge. Long tunnel shots through trees and a great variety of holes. Get a map of the course and check it out.

This may be a great course for locals, but anyone playing without a guide will be lost. Baskets are not all marked, tee markers are camouflage, tee boxes have no identification. It would not even take an hour for a local to walk around make tee boxes noticeable. This Course has potential but shame on the locals for not even trying to make this course visitor friendly.

Straight up skip this course. One decent hole. No signage when I was there. No real lines on most holes aside from throwing in the general direction you think the basket is in.

Most of the holes do not have tee boxes, so you have to throw off the ground with two wooden posts as markers. BUT, there is a dedicated group of people that are slowly building tee boxes called Bennet's Creek Chain Gang! So I imagine it's going to do wonders for the prestige of the course!

Hands down one of the BEST courses in Southern Virginia. Extremely well maintained.

Course is very well maintained with permanent tee boxes that are level and spacious. Course lines a park with some beautiful views of the water. Challenging but very fun and forgiving course. Free to play and park and easy to navigate if you follow the signage.
