Driving down tonight (Friday) for the tourney on Saturday and was hoping to check out the course. I'm hoping to get to the course by 8:30-9pm, can you play at that time or is it too dark? Is it easy to find?

First and foremost I wish to thank Boyne City for allowing a very motivated group of committed disc golfers to use and maintain one of what I consider to be best courses in Northern Michigan! Always a great time with great people when I make it there for league night!! Next I wish to thank all those committed disc golfers who do maintain and organize tournaments and communicate with the city, they are proud of their accomplishments!! KUDOS

there was very little snow on hole 6. that was it. 7 was wet but not snowy.

I really liked the course Randall. worth every step for every hole even though there is A LOT of walking 😊

Yeah the one walk between hole I believe 14 and 15 is a little much but it's my go to course if I want a good workout :D

Course is in good shape thanks in part to the Boyne Valley DGC. NWS has a tournament the following week

Many thanks to the club putting in the work on this course, it's looking better than I've ever seen it! I'm in the area every other month or so to visit family and I always bring my bag with me when I'm up so I can hit this course, I can definitely tell the club has put in some serious man hours cleaning things up and making this course a respectable disc golf destination. Keep up the good work!

Great work fellas. A big thank you to all that are putting in the work to revive this gem. I played it a decade or better ago and it was a beast. I am heading up that way to stay at Boyne and disc golf for a week. I will definately put McSauba on my list. Peace.

It's crunch time for Mt. McSauba so please spread the word! They are going to be out there sometime this weekend (although I'm not sure when, perhaps Sunday, contact Ric Evans of Chain O' Lakes Disc Golf Club) but the main work bee nights are Tuesday's and also Thursdays now. G ... more
Easy enough I suppose. Probably not a good idea to play a glow round though. It "closes" at dusk.
