A beautiful parkland disc golf course. Well manicured but natural tee surfaces. The design of the course creates some interesting shot shapes but for the most part I threw a lot of left-to-right shots. Nice tee signs and painted rocks as directional markers. Not overly long but still challenging.

What a gem! Did not expect such a great course! Had so much fun playing the course, it was worth the trip!

i only have played this course during the 2012 Black Fly and was really imressed by it. I've heard it's taken some storm damage since that has changed some of holes. Nice variety of shots. Probably only some tee pads and signage away from an A- for me

Great course which has been taken up by the Algonquin Disc Golf club since my brother Dusan's untimely passing in 2010. If you find the course poorly marked do you have any suggestions? How can we make it better?
The course map can be found here but any more additional tips would be very helpful and we'd get them done if possible!

Amazing what Dusan and locals design that is recognized as the top disc golf course in Northern Ontario. Its long manicured fairways and Short challenging dog legs from left and
right and shots and some nice tunnle shots, and a tricky back 9 were you have to be a little
smarter were you place your disc in the propper spots of the fairways.
AlgonquN South River signature 3rd hole is a solid 222ft short par three you must handily negotiate throwing over forest lake and through the white ba ...
